written by Dr. John McTernan "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. " John 1:18 This is Part 1 of an article I wrote titled: Is Jesus of Nazareth the Only Begotten Son of God? This posting is the latest in my 100 day countdown to the 400 anniversary of the King James authorized version of the Bible. Hundreds and hundreds of translations have come and gone since 1611, yet the KJV remains. This is one of the proofs that it is the word of God revealed to the English speaking people. Many beliefs are common to Christianity, regardless of individual denominations. In fact, these beliefs are central elements and tenets of our faith in the Lord Jesus. To have assurance of an eternal life with God, these are the core doctrines or beliefs: the virgin birth of Jesus of Nazareth, His death on the cross for sin, and His shed blood to pay the penalty for sin. The resurrection of the Lord Jesus and His literal second coming are also critical beliefs. These doctrines are essential for eternal life. But there is one doctrine that all the others rest upon. It is the rock bottom, foundation of the Christian faith: Jesus of Nazareth is the only begotten Son of God. Without this core belief, all the others are meaningless. Christianity stands upon the person of Jesus of Nazareth as the only begotten Son from eternity past and into the future forever. He is unique because He is the only begotten Son of God. Any tampering with this doctrine touches the very foundation of our faith.

But the inconsistencies of the new Bible versions shocked Riplinger as she studied the text changes in the new Bible versions. As a college professor she shared Jesus Christ with her college students when they came to her with their personal problems. Together they would look up verses in the Bible to find answers to these problems. Often they would use the student's new version Bible. To Riplinger's surprise she found over and over that the key elements of salvation, comfort and healing were missing from the verses in these new versions of the Bible. She began to compare the KJV with these new Bible versions and came face to face with the fact that the new Bible versions' texts are changed to accommodate all religions and their'gods,' thus changing theology and removing the truth that will set people free. Riplinger tells us in a live television interview on her New Age Bible Versions Video that, "New Agers have always said that we need a semantic bridge to bring the world religions all together and we need common names for things. What is happening in New Age literature is that Buddha is disappearing, Buddha being the

prophet over in the east. Krishna is disappearing. And even in Luciferian literature Lucifer's name is disappearing and being replaced by the Lord, the Christ, the One and the Spirit.

There are five key verses from the Holy Bible, Authorized King James Version (KJV), which show clearly that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. These verses follow: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John 1:18 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. (Notice how He was sent into the world from eternity as the only begotten Son of God) 1 John 4:9 These verses reveal that the Lord Jesus was begotten of the Father. He was from the bosom of the Father. You must believe on the name of the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD for eternal life. He was sent into this world from heaven as the only begotten Son of God. Your eternal life depends on the belief that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. The importance of this doctrine cannot be overstated. The Bible reveals God has other sons. For example, believers in Jesus are called the sons of God but through adoption. Adam was called the son of God. God gave the angels the title of the sons of God. Israel became God's son, and Solomon sat on the throne of Israel as the son of God. However, the Lord Jesus remains distinguished from all these sons of God. He is singular and unique as the only begotten Son of God with the Father from eternity. He has a different relationship with the Father. Any tampering with the Lord as the only begotten Son of God would just make Him one of many sons of God in the Bible. A verse to show this follows: To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. (6) And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Galatians 4:5 Today the very foundation of our faith is under direct attack. Most of the modern Bible translations have altered this doctrine and shake the very foundation of Christianity. Unfortunately, this attempt to undermine our faith appears to be largely ignored. The modern translations have replaced "only begotten" with words that change the person of the Lord Jesus and thus the foundation of the faith. The NIV removes the teaching of the only begotten son of God The New International Version (NIV) is one of the most popular translations today. It has completely altered the "only begotten Son" to terms that are false or misleading. The NIV is typical of most of the modern translations. The terms now used in place of "only begotten" are "One and Only" and "only Son." The verses from the NIV follow: John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:18 No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

"Now we are seeing a parallel move within the new Bible versions where it's not Jehovah anymore its just'Lord.' It's not Jesus Christ it is just'the Christ.' "They have separated Christ from Jesus in the new Bible versions because they want'the Lord,''the Christ,''the One' and'the Spirit' rather than the personal identity of the historic God of the Old Testament which is Jehovah and the God of the New Testament which is the Lord Jesus Christ."

Riplinger points out that the new versions remove Jesus Christ because, "The religions of the world believe that'god' created all things but not by Jesus Christ." For New Agers, Jesus Christ is too narrow a definition of "god." The different gods of all the world's religions fit neatly in the categories of the Lord, the Christ, the One and the Spirit. Therefore there is no need to proselytize people from other religions because their'god' is really the same as yours and all these'gods' lead down the same "path" to heaven, don't they? John 14:6 reminds us of the truth, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

1 John 4:9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. What does "One and Only" mean? One and only what? The Lord Jesus is not God's only Son: this is false as God has many sons. He is God's only begotten Son and thus unique. It is obvious that the modern translations have tampered with the very foundation of Christianity. Using the NIV, you cannot even prove that the Lord Jesus is the only begotten Son of God! Therefore, the NIV fails to substantiate the very foundation of the faith. The NIV and most modern translations are leading people away from the foundation of the faith! It is a subtle but diabolic shift away from historic Christianity towards a generic Jesus that can fit in nicely with other beliefs. In John 1:14,18 the words "begotten and Son" are left out, while John 3:16,18 and 1 John 4:9 are false as they remove "only begotten" and say "God's only Son." These translations are illegitimate. The modern versions have to be rejected as they are deficient and lack the ability to even prove the very foundation of the faith. These translations are leading believers away from the true person of the Lord Jesus. If you have the NIV, then you DON'T have the only begotten son of God. written by Dr. John McTernan Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Lucifer is not the 'bright and morning star' Part Two of my article. Most of the modern translations make a second outrageous error. just as egregious as tampering with the Lord Jesus being the only begotten Son of God. In Isaiah 14;12, the KJV accurately reports that Lucifer fell from heaven. Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! This is the only verse in the Bible that identifies Lucifer by name. The word Lucifer in Hebrew means "light bearer".

But the inconsistencies of the new Bible versions shocked Riplinger as she studied the text changes in the new Bible versions. Riplinger tells us in a live television interview on her New Age Bible Versions Video that, "New Agers have always said that we need a semantic bridge to bring the world religions all together and we need common names for things. What is happening in New Age literature is that Buddha is disappearing, Buddha being the prophet over in the east. Krishna is disappearing. And even in Luciferian literature Lucifer's name is disappearing and being replaced by the Lord, the Christ, the One and the Spirit.

Contrary to what the modern versions teach, Lucifer is not the "morning star".

Everything in this verse fits together nicely for the reader. Lucifer was in heaven and fell when he sinned and the LORD has cut him down. With an unbelievable slight of hand the modern translations removed Lucifer and replaced him with "Morning star"!

"Now we are seeing a parallel move within the new Bible versions where it's not Jehovah anymore its just'Lord.' It's not Jesus Christ it is just'the Christ.' John 14:6 reminds us of the truth, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

The problem with this is that "Morning star" is a title for the Lord Jesus! How is it that Lucifer is out in the modern translations while he is replaced with the "Morning star?" Morning star being one of the titles for the Lord Jesus. He is the bright and Morning star! The new translations remove Lucifer and replace him with a title for the only begotten Son of God! Lucifer is out of the Bible while the Morning star is the who fell from heaven. It does not get any worse than this! Another way of looking at this is Lucifer is now given a title that belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ. The following are the verses together so you can with your own eyes the slight of hand in many of the new translations: Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! (KJV) Isaiah 14:12 How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! (NIV) Revelation 22:16 I, Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am ... the bright and morning star. (KJV) I have a feeling, that the LORD is not happy with translations that remove Lucifer and replace him with the Lord Jesus. I was looking at a NASB that actually had Revelation 22:16 linked to Isaiah 14:12! There are numerous other errors in these modern translations, but these two errors, removing only begotten and Lucifer, alone are enough to reject them. The additional errors include eliminating paragraphs and entire sentences; removing words which change the meaning of verses; and notes which challenge the authority of the Bible. The notes usually say something to the effect, the oldest manuscripts do not contain this verse. It is time the true believers come back to God's word in English, the KJV. We must stop using these dangerous translations. Pastors should reject them and not teach from them. Seminaries and colleges need to be challenged as to why they promote these false translations. Why is the church so silent as Lucifer is setting up shop in the modern translation! How can God's anointing be on translations of the Bible that tamper with the Lord Jesus being the only begotten Son of God and then remove Lucifer and replace him with a title for the Lord Jesus? This is the major reason why so many Christians today are powerless. The power lies in the King James Bible Click here to read John McTernan's blog...

written by Dr. John McTernan Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, The Lord Jesus Came to Heal the Brokenhearted Part Three of my article. Spiritual power hemorrhages from believers as they read these new translations. They can lack both inner spiritual power as well as the proper Scriptures needed to defend the faith. An example of this is found in Luke 4:18. Millions of people suffer from a broken-heart. Something happened to them that wounded their spirit and broke their heart. This broken-heart can wreck havoc in their life. They can lead defeated lives without victory. People with a broken-heart can cover this over and try to forget and bury what caused it, but the damage caused by a brokenheart never goes away until it is healed by God's Holy Spirit. Luke 4:18 is the exact verse for such a person; however it is only found in the King James Bible!

But the inconsistencies of the new Bible versions shocked Riplinger as she studied the text changes in the new Bible versions.

Jesus came to save, and to heal the brokenhearted. Does YOUR bible teach that?

When I minister to someone who I sense has a broken-heart, I take them immediately to Luke 4:18. I read the verse and ask them if they have a broken-heart. In all my years of ministry, when I share this verse, everyone said yes. The person always knows both how and when their heart was broken. It is always clear to them like it happened yesterday. Sometimes they are overwhelmed and feel they can never be freed. I always assure them from Luke 4:18 that the ministry of the Lord Jesus was to heal them. The exact words of this verse "He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted" is a healing balm to these people and instantly gives them hope. A broken-heart means that it is shattered and splintered. The heart is the spiritual core of a person and this shattering is what is the cause of so many problems. The Holy Spirit ministers by healing the heart and making it whole. When the heart is healed, great strength and spiritual power flows from the heart and the person now lives in victory. I have seen many people instantly healed of a broken heart as we prayed, and they were set free in the name of Jesus. The modern translations removed brokenhearted from the verse! Luke 4:18 is the only verse in the New Testament which contains the word brokenhearted. The following, for comparison, is Luke 4:18 in the King James Version and the New International Version: Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised KJV Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free NIV The Holy Spirit would never remove "He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted" from the Bible, but this is exactly what the modern translations did! This is horrifying to me as it is such a subtle yet bold and blatant satanic attack on the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ! I know the power of Luke 4:18, as I have used it over and over again and witnessed the results in people's lives. This is a reason why I say the modern translations steal power out of Christians' lives. The modern translations are subtly designed to do this. It is beyond obvious that God's Holy Spirit would not be a part of a translation that allow this. Look at what the modern translations have done. They have eliminated that the Lord Jesus is the only begotten Son of God which is the very foundation of Christianity; they have removed Lucifer and replaced Him with a title for the Lord Jesus; and then they removed brokenhearted to steal power from believers lives who desperately need to know the Lord came to heal them. These three issues alone should send people fleeing from the modern translation and back to the King James which contains God's truth and power. After reading this article, if you realize that you suffer from a broken-heart you can be healed by God's Holy Spirit. All you need to do is bring before the LORD that your heart is broken and ask the Father to heal it in the name of Jesus. The Lord came to heal the brokenhearted, and you can ask in assurance because it is in His word as revealed in the KJV. I have witnessed dozens upon dozens of people healed of a broken-heart and set free. The very same can happen to you. The Bible warns that even in the apostle's day there were people who would corrupt the word of God. Today, the corruption seems to be without bounds. We have to guard against those who alter God's word and stand against this. We cannot sit by and let the foundation of the faith be washed away. We need to stand against this subtle attack on God's word: "For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God..." 2Corinthians 2:17. Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
