MID-OHIO EDUCATIONAL SERVICE CENTER (MOESC), Mansfield, OH 2010 to 2012 Retained on a multi-year contract funded by a state grant to improve operational efficiencies and reduce costs in the public education system.

On contract to the Galion City School District a $50M educational complex housing 2000 K-12 students in four newly constructed facilities located on a 70 acre campus to provide oversight and management of the districts operations: transportation, food service, building & grounds, custodial/maintenance and technology. Represented the district at Board of Education meetings.

Strategy & Leadership Successes Implemented efficiency improvements in transportation by reducing the number of bus routes resulting in a 13% improvement in cost/mile and a 10.4% improvement in state ridership efficiency measures. Changed the process for administering school lunches to non-needy students saving $4K annually, a 52% savings. Analyzed and provided justification to purchase new energy efficient stadium lights that were 70% more efficient resulting in a $8.9K annual cost savings.
