be traced back to the ancient world. Many ancient civilizations have made long lasting contributions in the fields of art, architecture, government, philosophy, math, drama and science. Basically a golden age is a period in nations history where there is great creativity and achievements in several things such as math, science, art and philosophy etc. Many countries such as the Greece, Rome and China and many more had made the most lasting impact in the world, people in our society today. However in these three countries come achieved a lot benefited a lot and advanced several things. Even thought the other did not as much as others did. Some had many positive effects, aspects or contributions that made them achieve their goal. However there had negative effects, aspects that made them achieve something but not as much. In my opinion I think that Greece is the country in the ancient world that had made most of the lasting impact on our society. Because of the following: Greece was the one who started developing up ideas, achievements and advancements. Greece had created mathematical principles that are still used today. They had developed geometry the study of angles principles of density. This had been benefited Greece, Its people and also the people living in the world. Had helped us used what Greece developed to apply it to solve real life math problems. It also

spreads education all over the world. Another achievement that the Greek had was that the Greek doctor Hippocrates had developed a method of diagnosing or healing people of that. Because of that crucial achievement many people in the worlds survived and saved their lives from losing because of a disease etc. Also gave the other doctors/ people in the world to develop more ideas, apply something to it, and save more lives than before. Because of saving people this would prevent the worlds population from falling or decreasing. Made worlds technology even more advanced than before and helped them be successful. The third achievement is that the Greeks were the first developers to create dramas and plays. The plays were tragedy is or comedies. This achievement had helped people relieve form stress or everyday life problems. Helped them get out of the depression. Provided people with jobs, made people feel or made them happy, also helped them enjoy the entertainment created by the people. The last achievement was that they created sculptures or paintings represented ways of Greek life. This shows that people honored people by painting their pictures or making sculptures of them. This also demonstrated that they were very important for the people of Greek. Influenced others to make paintings/ sculptures of others and helping them focus on what they achieved. The United States is not experiencing a golden age today of several things because there is not enough jobs for people and many are unemployed. Because of that many people are starving to death and is making our economy decrease. Maybe they might not have many achievements that they had achieved.
