Monochromatic Harmony Paiks (colors sampled from Name June Paik s works)

Design Rationale and Process Nam June Paiks work is pretty out there. He was way ahead of his time an d practically invented video art. His 3-dimensional and sculpture works feature creative combinations of old televisions and other parts, arranged to create semblances of other objects. Thus, it seemed appropriate to arrange the timeline in such a way that it looked like something. A TV seemed the best choice. Once I arranged the pictures, it occurred to me that their grid-like formation resulted in a combination that was too structured and contained. Paiks work is unkempt and unpredictable. It is angled. So, I rotated some of the objects. Given that Paiks used TV and electronics for his pieces, it seemed fitting to use a font that connoted wires and electronics. I found WIRED saji on dafont.com.
