Hereby I undersigning, apply myself for registering for On-campus placements to T&P Cell and all the above filled details are true. Signature of applicant

VISION: To stop those students who are sitting in placements just for experience and then withdrawing at any intermediate stage. RULES:

1. Only students registered to Training and Placement (T&P) Cell, SCET, can apply for and sit in the Logical process of On-Campus Placement in any of the companies arriving. 2. All the Professional Ethics are need to be followed and dressing should be maintained by the students sitting in the Campus interviews. 3. Once a campus is declared the student has to register him/herself via mail/website. Once registered, it is compulsory for the student to sit in the preplacement talk (PPT) of that company. 4. Once Job description, salary, bond, location, etc. are clear, student decides whether he/she has to sit in the logical process of campus interview or not. 5. Once the student sits, he/she cant walkout by himself/herself before the whole logical process is completed. 6. If selected, the student has to join the company on the date and timing given by the company. 7. All the companies arriving will be classified into 3 categories, namely A, B and C. The classification is based on the annual package provided by the company. Classification is as follows: Category A: >= Rs. 2.3 lakh, category B: between Rs. 1.9 to 2.3 lakh and category C : <= Rs. 1.9 lakh. So, a student got selected in a Category C Company can sit in campus of category A or B Company. And hence, with drawl from category C Company, if got selected in category A or B Company will not be considered as violation of rule 5. 8. If a student registered in T&P Cell applies anywhere for either further studies or for job (Off-campus), it is his duty to inform the Training & Placement Officer (TPO) before sitting in the PPT of any of the company. 9. If the student mentioned in above rule got selected Off-campus or gets admission for further studies, and wants to go for it, he/she has to inform the Training & Placement Officer (TPO) providing the confirmation after which he/she will not be considered as guilty for it. 10. If any company delays in providing the joining letter to any On-campus selected student, the T&P Cell will not be responsible for it. 11. Registering student has to deposit a cheque of Rs.15,000, which will be given back later if the student is not found violating any of the above mentioned rules and if got selected On-campus, joins the company and work there for a minimum of 3 months, compulsorily. 12. If a student defaults in any process, the T&P Cell reserves the right to take any action which may be not giving final mark sheet(s) and/or degree certificate and/or an appropriate deduction from the deposit. 13. The decision taken by the Students Ethics Committee will be considered as final.
