Description Steel tube forepoling method can be used in the entrance to Tunnel. Or if the geology : inside the Tunnel is under various fragile conditions ranging from clayey soil to cracked rock also can be used. After the traditional supporting method had been used, if excavation still collapse, then should use the system which can improve and fasten weak ground to prevent collapse. The AGF method use the drill jumbo of Tunnel to install the long steel tubes into the face of the Tunnel like the drawing as below. And inject the materials which depend on the situation of the geology. Through AGF method can make the top of Tunnel's ground consolidation like a shape of umbrella. To prevent the collapse after excavation.

The advantage of AGF 1.The jumbo of the tunnel can be used, no need to use appropriative forepoling machine. 2.The normal labor of tunnel can handle the tool of AGF, no need to use professional labor. 3.We can install different length of steel tube depend on different geology, and we also have different drill bit system to use.

If we use the HDPVC tube to instead of the last steel tube, the advantage are as following: 1.No need to make over excavation. 2.Save the amount of excavation, save the amount of shotcrete, save the girder, save time, ETC. It means more economical.

Features : Process of steel tube forepoling method 1.Install the steel tube Firstly,to mark all the points for installation on the cutting face, then put the steel tube and drilling rod on the drilling arm of jumbo. Adjustting the drilling arm to the point of installation, use the pilot bit which adapt with drilling rod and steel tube, through the drilling arm to drill and push all the steel tubes and drilling rod and bit into the ground of the cutting face. When they go into the depth of what we need, we can withdraw the bit and all the rods but only leave all the steel tubes inside the ground. 2.Seal the hole and injection After finishing all the installation of steel tubes, we should seal all the holes of installation. And make the injection into every steel tubes.

Specification According to the different machinery, steel tube of forepoling method can be used by : appropriative forepoling machine, which called TREVI Method. Also can be used by jumbo of tunnel, whcih called AGF Method. Because the AGF Method can use the jumbo which always stay inside the tunnel, this advantage makes AGF Method more flexible than TREVI Method. According to the different construction methods, AGF Method can be used for over excavation and non-over excavation. If we want to install the steel tube on the face inside the tunnel, we should leave more space above the cutting face. It means that we have to do more excavation above the face. We call this over excavation. But it will increase the cost of tunneling. So we develop non-over excavation, called AGF-P Method. The following drawing are the different between AGF and AGF-P.
