Makes me think about Mary and Martha. They loved Jesus so much and Jesus loved them.

When Lazarus became deathly ill it was easy to question why Jesus had tarried four days. Jesus hates death and weeped for the scene of the family mourning Lazarus' death already locked in the tomb with a stone. But Jesus had to show them a lesson which would be a lesson for the rest of us down through the ages. Yes they knew that Lazarus would arise in the great resurrection morn. Jesus had to give multiple examples so that we would know he is our resurrection for eternal life. He wanted their faith to rise up and stay up from then on. He wanted them to use that faith and believe in the power and Glory of Jesus. Jesus commanded to take the stone away. Yes we have to get the stones of this world out of the way before we are taken up. Then the doubt showed up, he stinketh by now. As time passes we must not let time-decay become doubt. Since Jesus had given us eternal life, time has stopped for us. Eternal life is forever and time cannot measure that to us. Jesus called Lazarus by name and in an individual way. Jesus was showing that each one of us are individuals before the Lord and have that one on one relationship. Now Jesus in the old testament was a ladder to eternal life. Yes under the Law there was much struggle and sting in death. Now that Jesus has come and died for us he has taken the sting out of death and has become a bridge for us. Jesus was a bridge for Lazarus to just walk out. Just walk over the bridge back to life with him. So lessons learned right? Jesus had to teach the lesson again. He was buried in the tomb with the stone sealing his body in. But then the resurrection morn came and there was no man to roll the stone away. So an Angel was summoned to roll the stone away. Those Roman guards had zero faith to roll the stone away and the disciples and friends of Jesus had retired to tears. Then Mary saw this lesson again. The stone rolled away and the man walking in the garden. Jesus had the power to lay down his life and has the power to lower the bridge for himself to come out. Resurrection power so strong that others who were dead in their tombs were found walking around the city. Now for the rest of us in this present world, are we ready? Do we have all our stones rolled away waiting for the power to lower the bridge to come up higher translated to meet Jesus in the air? This same Jesus that taught us this lesson of how we are to be overcomers in death, and the grave, have to teach the whole world so that the full harvest will be ready. The scene of graves opened world wide hopefully will bring remembrance of the lessons of Jesus. Just like Lazarus, Jesus letting down the bridge to resurrected life. Jesus showed a lesson for all time and eternity on that powerful resurrection morn. Jesus calls us one by one. A personal relationship hopefully ending for all, who have an honest heart, in Jesus letting down the bridge. Praise God no more ladder for us. It is much easier to skip over a bridge straight into heaven. Easter makes me so thankful for the bridge over death, hell, and the grave for us. To think that Jesus loves us so much that he lets down the bridge individually. That is, if we let down our bridge first, asking him into our hearts. Bringing back the KIng, together, skipping over the bridge. Love Nic
