The Environment

What is the environment? Environment is the sum total of living and non-living components; influences and events surrounding and organism. Man has had many far-reaching effects on the environment over the years. Global warming, pollution and the damage to the ozone layer are a few of the major things that can be heard in the news. We had damaged the earth gradually over the years and this damage cannot be reversed, we are now, trying to stop any more damage being caused to the environment. I grew up in a environment where pollution, disease, and other problems are a big issue. Cars and factories release greenhouse gasses into the air, and forests are being cut down. In other countries, many people are behind on cures for diseases. Many people talk about how the polar ice caps are melting and the ozone layer depleting. An Inconvenient Truth, and opened my eyes to see how today's technology and garbage affect these environmental disasters, and I want to do something about it. The simplest explanation about why the environment matters is that, we have to love the planet because Earth is our home. It is where we live, breathe, eat, and raise our children. Just because we have the power to destroy and other species, this does not give us any right to do so. But more convincing to the ones having power in today's world is probably the economic argument. That we cannot afford to destroy the Earth

A clean environment is good for everyone, but our planet is far from being clear. If we continue what we do, without any limit to exhaust the Earth's natural sources (oil, coal, ect.), Future generations will no longer consuming. Following this we should think seriously, our children, our grandchildren and they deserve to dispose of these things. Should focus more on renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, these energy sources are much better, given that they are greener than those who are present and that most countries depend on them . I know that only one person can not change anything in the world, I'd like to think it could with much dedication and perseverance. I think everything I said above about our environment 80% of people think the same thing many think and see what happens, but few who will fight to protect this world. Even if I am not able to change anything, even I will going to try to convince those around me that together we could do something for us for the future.
