Previous Knowledge

Teaching/ Stage Set induction (5 minutes) Activities 1. Teacher asks the pupils what they have learn yesterday. 2. Teacher invites pupils to write the answer on the whiteboard. Pre (15 minutes) 1. Teacher shows the picture cards to the pupils. 2. Pupils guess the pictures. 3. Pupils answer simple question. ii. Questions to be asked: i. what is in the picture? what does he/ she do? iii. does she/ he wears uniform? iv. where can you see him/ her? While (20 minutes) 1. Teacher divide the pupils into 3 groups: the carpenter, the sailor, the cook. 2. Teacher shows the picture of the carpenter, the sailor and the cook. Questions to be asked: I. What does he/ she do? Listening and speaking Teaching materials: picture of carpenter, sailor, cook. Analyzing pictures. Teaching materials: picture cards learning strategies Recalling Notes

3. Pupils answer simple questions. 4. Teacher paste the text on the whiteboard. 5. Teacher reads the texts and pupils listen. 6. Each group read their lines with correct word stress. 7. When finish, all groups read all the lines. Post (15 minutes) 1) Teacher distributes tongue twister scripts to the pupils. 2) Teacher explains what is a tongue twister. 3) Teacher reads all the scripts and pupils listen. 4) In the same group, pupils read their lines. 5) Teacher calls out the group and the group will read their lines. Closure (5 minutes) Teacher calls out a few pupils to list out all the jobs that they have learn. Recalling Games
