Introduction
Building BIM guidelines are important documents that provide project participants, be they designers, procurement and supply chain professionals, the requisite details and basis to plan and implement BIM for any construction project. These guidelines chart the processes, procedures, responsibilities and "contractual" basis for BIM adoption. Without BIM guidelines, project participants would be making a journey "blindly" i.e. without a proper roadmap that is convenient, readily understood and applicable.
