ACT1

We open on a scene of an eccentric city with an eclectic mix of odd creatures and
ordinary people. Fathers greet each other on their way to work, singing masculine
songs about this exciting morning. A row of baby bats, hanging in their stroller,
babble curiously to each other about this overflowing joy in the air. Up in outer
space, a one-eyed bird waiting for a package on her front porch replies to the bats
with her song. Her kind mechanical voice informs us that today begins the most
thrilling contest in this town; "Best Delivery Man of the Month!" Mr. Volcano
Holly Rock, who has a thousand twin brothers, picks up the melody after the one-
eyed bird. His bass tone harmonizes with a tenor -- his twin brother! They sing that
if anyone can deliver the letter to them, and not be confused by their thousand
other twins, THAT will be the best delivery man. Because accuracy of delivery is a
major score in the contest. Across town, a faction of kids are rooting for whoever
can deliver their wish lists to Santa Claus the fastest, so they can get their
Christmas gifts before Halloween. Fastest delivery is another big part of the contest
score. Over at the science lab, a group of smarty pants mathematically analyze the
chance of each candidate, and have no doubt who will win -- Mrs.Rocket the
Delivery Kangaroo! And her four assistants, who are baby Kangaroos she keeps in
her pocket! Their prediction is based on the simple fact that 5 delivery men can
deliver letters faster and more precisely than any single delivery man. Out in the
country, opposing this theory, a tatty group of sheep raise their voices in perfect
harmony, wishing the best for their own delivery sweetheart -- the pot-bellied pug,
Victor the Delivery Dog!

At that moment Victor reveals himself heroically in the sky, flying atop a
mustachioed paper airplane -- his partner Mr. Papier! Victor wears a freshly ironed
uniform which makes him look a tiny bit thinner than he actually is. His best pal,
the magical french envelope Mr. Papier, has waxed his mustache into a reasonable
facsimile of two perfectly aligned chopsticks. This good looking pair of delivery
dandies surf through the sky with ease, having a good start to the first day of the
contest.

As Victor rides his friend Mr. Papier, (who can fold himself into a paper airplane at
will), they sing the corn dog song while making delivery. Victor races to deliver his
mail faster than anyone, driven by the contest prize;

"The reward is a swimming pool full of free corn dogs, plus a coupon for a free
corn dog! The winner also receives a gold medal on a blue ribbon that smells like
a free corn dog!" he sings.

On his last delivery, Victor knocks on the door of Mrs. White Socks, who seems
confused by the letter, which is addressed to her son, White Socks Jr.

"I can't accept this... my son hasn't been here since last Christmas!"

Victor's belly drops, popping the third button off his uniform. In order to win
"Delivery Man of the Month", he must deliver ALL the mail assigned to him! Just
then Mrs. Rocket, a major competitor, streaks by with her four assistants, taunting
Victor with her empty mailbag...

Victor, blinded by jealousy and free corn dogs, hatches a grand idea...

"I can just mark this one 'Return to Sender' under the circumstance of wrong
address!"

Victor delivers the wayward letter back to the sender, a puffy-eyed 10 year old girl.
She tells Victor a tearful tale of a terrible argument with her beloved kitten, White
Socks Jr. and a ball of yarn!

"I made a sweater out of White Socks Jr's favorite ball of yarn, because all my
store-bought sweaters were giving me rashes!"

She pulls up the sleeve of her sweater, revealing a nasty patch of skin rash on her
arm.

Of course, When White Socks Jr. found out about his yarn ball, he was enraged,
and stormed out of the house to live with his mother.

The broken hearted girl wrote an apology letter in hopes that her kitten would
come back home. It was this letter that Victor held in his hand.

Victor frantically explained that despite the girl's sad story, the letter still remained
"return to sender". The little girl, desperate to get her kitten back, insists the
address is right, the receiver simply wasn't home!

Victor's second button pops off as his belly drops again! In order to win the contest
he must find the missing White Socks Jr!

Meanwhile White Socks Jr. had been picked up on the way to his mom's house by
a rich but lonely guy, Mr. Cushicushi. Mr. Cushcushi is the owner of the town's
largest and most successful yarn factory, but he has no family. So he was happy to
adopt this yarn obsessed "stray" cat who he found on the side of the road. In fact,
he likes White Socks Jr. so much that signs a paper stating all his property is to be
inherited by his only companion, White Socks Jr! This lucky cat -- who doesn't
even know the difference between a 1 dollar bill and a 10 dollar bill -- is just happy
to be in his new home, living with this kind man and his factory full of 100%
exotic yarn balls!

However, we all know happy endings don't come this easily. And big fortunes
attract misfortunes! From a dilapidated shack not far from the yarn factory, a group
of coyotes keep their eye on this millionaire's baby -- White Socks Jr!

ACT 2

The city swirls with excitement faster and faster everyday. A point chart of the
candidates hangs on the wall of City Hall, higher than the flag. The villagers watch
the sign more closely than the stock market ticker. Victor, who hasn't been able to
eat much lately, has still kept his spirits up. The Victor-Papier team has been
delivering mail fast and accurate for the past 2 weeks. They also work overtime
trying to find White Socks Jr, every night. During the search, skipping dinners has
become more and more
common but tonight Victor's "buy one dinner, get two free" coupon is about to
expire. So exhausted from searching, Victor and Papier land in front of a local
diner.

Victor and Papier enter the diner to the sound of a raucous argument between the
owner and a meowing customer. Lady One Dollar, sitting alone atop the cash
register, explains the situation. White Socks Jr, the richest cat in town, had just
tried to pay his tab with a one dollar bill in stead of a ten dollar bill. So the owner
is giving him a long lecture on the important difference between the two!

Victor and Papier can't believe their good luck! All they have to do is wait for
White Socks to come out and hand him the letter. Easy as pie! To celebrate, Victor
eats three dinners while Mr. Papier gets busy chatting up the lovely Lady One
Dollar!

"Oh~ I can smell you like spicy mints! Your breath is so fresh it burns my eyes!"
says Papier, enthralled.

As Victor enjoys his dinner, a cold breeze blows across his table. It is Mrs.
Rocket's snotty four assistants;

"Look who's eating three dinners! Victor, the SECOND place delivery dog! Too
bad you'll never find that missing cat -- and oh yeah, that means you'll never win!"
The four of them giggle like hyenas, even though they are actually kangaroos!

"I beg your pardon, but I believe your facts are incorrect." said Victor through a
mouthful of food. "That missing cat is in the back room, and I'm about to deliver
the problem letter any minute!"

The kangaroo team, who care only about winning, quickly shift into "plan B".

"Hey Victor, wanna fetch?" asks the kangaroo leader as she throws a red rubber
ball...

Victor, full of energy after three big meals, immediately chases after the ball, just
like any one year old puppy would!

The Kangaroos throw the ball further and further each time, tricking Victor into
running farther and farther from the diner, while Mr. Papier gets closer and closer
to Lady One Dollar!

By the time White Socks Jr. comes out, Victor is far across the parking lot in mid-
fetch, and Mr. Papier is in the middle of a romantic ice skating routine with Lady
One Dollar. Eager to get home, White Socks Jr. left the diner and whistled loudly
for his limo to pick him up. But instead of his limo, a black Hummer sped toward
him and snatched this millionaire kitty off the street!

Victor witnessed this horrible scene as he raced full speed toward the diner.

"Wait, I have your letter!!!"

Victor's cry snapped Mr. Papier out of his love trance, and he dropped the final
triple axle from his routine! Grabbing Lady Dollar by the hand, Mr. Papier
transformed into a fancy paper jet and chases after the kidnappers.

Victor and Papier chase the black Hummer, criss-crossing the entire town. Several
times, Victor got close enough to reach through the window and Grab White Socks
Jr., but each time the Coyotes were able to pull him back! But all is painfully lost
when Lady One Dollar slips off of Papier's back and Papier U-turns away from the
limo to save his lover. Victor, exhausted and disappointed, flops to the ground and
bursts into tears. Papier, reunited with Lady One Dollar, pats Victor's head and
sings him a song about what makes a good man. Victor learns little by little that
there are more valuable things than his corn dogs.

On the other side of the city, kidnapped White Sock Jr. doesn't understand what is
happening to him. The Hummer cruises smoothly through the darkness, as the
Coyotes break into the uncoordinated harmony of their victory song. In the back

seat, surrounded by smelly coyotes, White Socks misses his first owner, the little
girl, for the first time. His life was simple before, playing, eating, sleeping and
going to the litter box. He is jolted from his memories as the car pulls into an ugly
industrial park. Black smoke belches from the stacks of a dark building that
supplies fake yarn that is made into itchy sweaters. The gang leads White Socks
into a room where three sour old ladies are constantly knitting sweaters out of fake
yarn, while a most horrifying looking coyote with a wooden leg scratches their
backs.

These three old ladies, who knit only for profit, are competitors of Mr. Cushicushi.
They use cheap yarn to make cheap sweaters at a cheap price. Their yarn is made
of recycled pizza boxes and broken glasses, and causes severe skin rashes. It is
only a matter of time before they dominate the yarn industry. Their plan is as
simple as it is devious. Step one, which they have just accomplished, is to kidnap
White Socks Jr., Mr. Cushicushi's only heir. Step two is to call Mr. Cushicushi and
inform him that the ransom for White Socks Jr. is his entire herd of 100 sheep,
which are the key ingredient in Mr. Cushicushi's prize-winning yarn! The sheep are
payment to the gang of hungry coyotes, who's favorite dish is sweater sheep stew!
Once the sheep are eaten, Mr. Cushcushi will be out of business, and 100% wool
will disappear from this city, forcing everyone to buy itchy brand sweaters forever!

Back on the friendly side of town, the corn dog shop is almost finished cooking the
prize. Every corner smells like sweet free corndog. The whole village is looking
forward to the contest finale. All the candidates sing songs about their hopes of
winning the contest, as they power up to empty their last delivery bags. Mrs.
Rocket, the strongly favored candidate, has a hard time controlling her assistants.
They are her kids. They are not that different from a normal Mom and kids. The 4
assistants, who have been working non-stop for 4 weeks without play time, start to
sneak out of their mom's pocket.

Meanwhile, Victor can't get the kidnapping out of his head. He pushes aside his
last mailbag of contest deliveries, and stands up for the right thing for the first time
in his 1 year old life.

"I can't just deliver this bag and win the corn dogs. I have nightmares about White
Socks Jr. asking for help every night!"

Papier beams with pride at his little friend who is growing to be a great man. He
promises to draw a mustache on Victor's face and teach him some guaranteed pick-
up lines for the ladies.

Victor and Papier, now with new found strength, set off to rescue White Socks Jr.
Victor, whose heart is now bigger than his stomach, sings a song called, "I Was
Born to Be a Detective German Shepherd."

ACT3

Our team of brave hearts, relying on Victor's excellent sense of smell, sneak into
the fake yarn factory successfully. They discover the coyote gang sharpening their
knives and forks among the fake yarn machines and piles of itchy sweaters. The
dark scene is almost more than they can handle.

"I am only a delivery man, what can I do?" squeaks Victor as he realizes he is
neither a super hero nor German Shepherd! But Papier cheers him up again...

"Victor, the great man is the one who has the great heart...You don't need to have
moustaches or tight abs."

Papier, enjoying the twin admiring looks from Victor and Lady One Dollar,
scrambles for a simple plan, so as not to dim his limelight...

"Me, the fastest jet in the world, is going to Mr. Cushicushi for help, and you,
Victor -- my delicious looking pork chop -- you dress up like a sheep, and trick
those coyotes into saving the kitten! Easy as pie!"

10 minutes later Victor is running for his life in a sheep costume, being chased by
drooling coyotes. He begins to think this is not quite as easy as pie! The coyotes
trap him in the hallway, right next to the vending machine, and are about to tear
into him when this hapless phony sheep hears the urgent voice of Lady One Dollar!

"Insert me into the vending machine and pick my favorite mints!!"

Victor's eyes light up with hope at this genius idea! He flings Lady One Dollar into
the machine, and picks her favorite mints --"Super Spicy Wasabi Tear Jerkers"!
Grabbing the pack, Victor shoots the mints into the coyote's snarling mouths with

the same super fast wrist action he uses to shoot envelopes into mail boxes. The
coyotes' eyes bulge out of their heads, their hair begins to smoke, and they drop to
the ground rolling and crying like helpless puppies. Victor earns just enough time
to run to the room where White Socks Jr., the one legged Coyote, and the three old
ladies are kept. Victor snatches the kitten and runs for his life with the one legged
Coyote in hot pursuit. A back and forth battle ensues with the kitten as the prize,
and piece by piece the shoddy yarn-making robot machines are destroyed. They
fall from the top floor, crash on the ground and catch fire. The evil ladies cry and
yell, as their evil empire goes up in smoke! Even the Coyote's wooden leg catches
fire, causing him to do the goofy coyote fire dance while Victor ties up the three
ladies with itchy sweaters. Just then, Papier arrives with Mr. Cushicushi and a
group of policemen. With everything under control, Victor finally delivers the
letter, wrinkled and stained with sweat, to White Socks Jr. -- completing his
assignment! White Socks Jr. bursts into tears as he reads the letter from the puffy
eyed girl. Victor is now certain there are more important things than a swimming
pool full of free corn dogs in this world. Papier interrupts his deep moment...

"Hey kid, we can still make it to the Delivery Man of the Month ceremony!"

The smell of corn dogs at the ceremony mixes with the smell of burnt fake yarn,
and that produces the wonderful smell of pine trees! Surely, that raises up the
excitement of the event. The people are busy singing about Victor's adventure as
well as the winner of the contest. Sadly, the Victor- Papier team lost on a
technicality due to the delay in delivering White Socks Jr's letter. But Victor's rival
Mrs.Rocket lost too! Her 4 assistants, who were distracted by a local rock band
forgot to deliver the last letter. The prize goes to an underdog -- a snail who teamed
up with a jogging spider!

As the town congratulates their new winner, the Mayor announces a special prize!

"I hereby declare Victor, who saved the life of 100 citizen sheep, our yarn industry
AND our skin, our Great Man of the Year."

In addition to this honor, Victor receives an even greater reward than old corn
dogs. He can eat anything he wants, all year, for free. Anywhere!!!

White Socks Jr. goes back to the puffy-eyed little girl and leaves his money behind.
But he arranges for Mr. Cushicushi to adopt 100 orphan kittens before he goes. Mr.

Frederator Studios 2009

Cushicushi is very happy to watch his newly expanded family play with his 100%
wool yarn balls. Mr. Papier brings the vending machine home and opens the cash
box to find his lady among the coins and five dollar bills. Together they sing a
lovely duet dedicated to their reunion.

The contest is over and the village settles back to normal, with one exception.
Victor, who has a bigger heart than before, sings louder while he is delivering mail
than ever. And everyone loves it.
