Senior Level Leadership Collaborated as part of Athletics Leadership Team to create overall program culture, philosophy, management and oversight to 15 administrative areas and 24 sports which led to 50 Conference Championships in 30 years. Cross divisional collaboration with Senior University officials to develop and create coordinated processes and procedures. Budget Oversight Delivered balanced budgets by leading unit managers on planning and spending strategies which allowed for maximized use of limited University funds for 9 years. Event Management Organized and managed all Athletics events for 10 years including, 3 National Championships (Womens Lacrosse); 7 NCAA regional or early round Championship events (Football, Gymnastics, Mens Lacrosse, and Womens Lacrosse); and collaborated on 3 National Championships (Mens Lacrosse). Facility Management Managed ongoing facilities maintenance and issues with staff including 5000 seat arena and stadium; Served as staff liaison to construction projects including expansion of Unitas Stadium to current 11,000 seat capacity.

Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Team Administration ; 2011-2012 Initiated leadership programming for coaches, inclusive of personal and professional development as well as vision planning, goal setting, and problem solving for the Department. Created and implemented the on-boarding and revised staff orientation process for the Athletics Department. Strategically scheduled 400+ athletic events annually ensuring that all aspects of game planning (eg facility schedule, officials, contracts) were appropriately managed. Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Internal Operations; 2001-2011 Reviewed, revised, and implemented a business model that ensured an annually balanced budget 15-20 million. Analyzed and revised the inventory system involving the departments equipment area to improve accountability. Provided administrative oversight for the maintenance and upgrade of athletics facilities. Managed the stadium expansion construction and field house planning projects. Redefined the event management process to provide exemplary customer service at all events. Secured and hosted 3 record setting NCAA Championship events in Womens Lacrosse.

Analyzed and enhanced departmental travel services (approximately $750k annually) for teams and individuals to leverage volume and manage costs. Created and implemented a video services department in support of the 24 athletics teams. Provided leadership and guidance to the academic, compliance, and student services areas to provide outstanding support of student-athletes. Strategically scheduled 400+ athletic events annually ensuring that all aspects of game planning (eg facility schedule, officials, contracts) were appropriately managed. Represented the University at the conference (CAA) and national (NCAA) level on regional and national committees. Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance and Student Services; 1996-2001 Collaborated in the strategic review and reorganization of the Department which significantly improved program operations. Created and implemented a number of student centered items including revamping the process to determine studentathlete eligibility (of 550+ students); awarding $4,000,000 in student grants-in-aid; initiation of the student athlete advisory committee; development of a life skills education program; and early monitoring of student-athlete academic performance to ensure good academic standing. Created and maintained the Athletics Departmental Policies and Procedures manual. Strategically scheduled 350+ athletic events annually ensuring that all aspects of game planning. Assistant and Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance and Academic Support ; 1983-1996 Created and directly involved with processes and procedures to manage all aspects of the compliance and academic support programs, including student services and financial aid which allowed for the department to stay in good stead with the NCAA (national organization). Strategically scheduled 300+ athletic events annually ensuring that all aspects of game planning. Assistant to the Director of Athletics; 1982-1983; Managed all administrative responsibilities for department related to team event scheduling including maintaining master composite schedule; inclement weather rescheduling of events; and related services (contracts and officials). Head Field Hockey and Assistant Womens Lacrosse Coach ; 1982-1986 Served as Head Field Hockey Coach, was responsible for the organization, planning, and management of the Field Hockey team for 4 years with a record of: 16-43-4 during its first years in Division I competition. Served as Assistant Womens Lacrosse Coach assisting with the management and coaching of the team.
