COMPANY PRESENTATION
S.C. ZIMTUB S.A. Zimnicea, a company with integral private capital, is an important Romanian producer of spirally welded- black and coated, longitudinally welded steel pipes black and high density polyethylene pipes. The company has almost 30 years of experience in pipes manufacturing.

The company was founded in 1978, starting with the production of spirally welded tubes, the products range being extended in 1984 with black longitudinally welded pipes and since 2008 square and rectangular welded pipes were added into fabrication; since 2011 are manufactured spirally welded steel pipes insulated and high density polyethylene pipes.

As a port in the Danube river, Zimnicea is directly linked with Europe while deliveries to other continents are performed trough Constantza, the biggest Romanian Black Sea port.

Satisfying our costumers requirements during over 30 years of activity has consolidated our position in the welded pipes producers market, ZIMTUB ranking in the welded pipes suppliers top. The continuous improvement of products quality, the permanent communication with the customers have determined the keeping of the traditional customers and the gaining of the new ones. ZIMTUB main targets are : extending the manufacturing range, the flexibility and the adaptability to customers and market requirements, the expertise and commitment of our staff as well as our products to be delivered according to our customers needs.

PRODUCTS RANGE
Our products range includes at the moment: - Submerged spirally welded steel pipes; - Longitudinally welded pipes using high frequency currents induction (round, square and rectangular)

- Spirally welded steel pipes covered with extruded polyethylene - High density polyethylene pipes;

- Folded plates for general use (arcades for construction sheds); S.C. ZIMTUB S.A. has on course a courageous investment program, which has as goal the increase of production capacities, the satisfaction of the most demanding clients and the diversification of the production range.

SUBMERGED SPIRALLY WELDED PIPES

Domains of use
Dimensional range - diameter 219,1 1626 mm; - wall thickness 5,0 12,5 mm; - length 6 12,5 m; - Oilfield tubular, oil transportation - Gas and water transportation; - Pipe-lines for heating, main gas line - General use: installations, metallic constructions. EXAMPLE Spirally welded steel line pipe according to SR EN 10 208 Steel line pipe for liquid fuel. Technical specifications: SR EN 10 208-2; beveled ends; submerged spirally welding. Diameter 610 x 12.5 mm , steel grade L360NB. The pipe is delivered black, untreated or covered with extruded polyethylene. Full length nondestructible weld test; we can issue Quality Certificate type 3.1. according to SREN 10 204. Mill lengths are between 8 and 12 m (usually 10 m).

Spirally welded pipes coated with extruded polyethylene SREN DIN 30 670 , 219.1 813 mm dimensional range, wall thickness between 5 and 14.2 mm. Manufacturing material L245 L415 or equivalent steel grades according to different standards of execution. Types of coverage: normal (Nn and Nv at temperatures up to 50 ) and special type (Sn and Sv at temperatures up to 70 ). Depending on the minimum thickness the systems are classified into: normal coating (n) and thick coating (v). The minimum thickness of the normal coating (n) is of 2 mm for diameters between DN 100-DN 250 (including); 2,2 mm for diameters between DN250 DN 500 (including); 2,5 mm for diameters between DN 500 DN 800 (including); 3 mm for diameters greater than DN 800. For the coating thick type (v) the minimum coating thickness will be greater with 0,7 mm.

QUALITY CERTIFICATES
As a proof of our permanent concern with improving the quality of the products and services is the large number of quality attestations and certificates issued by prestigious quality certification bodies like TUV, ISCIR for our products, manufacturing and testing procedures, execution and coordination staff. S.C. ZIMTUB S.A. has implemented a Quality Management System certified by two bodies: - according to ISO 9001:2008 certified by TUV Suddeutschland Munchen; - according to API Spec. Q1, 8th ed. 2007, certified by API Washington. ZIMTUB is API certified for spirally welded pipes according to API specification 5L, 44th ed./2007, quality level PSL1, PSL 2, including the right to use the API monogram.

HIGH DENSITY POLYETHILENE PIPES

base material PE 80 and PE 100 ; diameter between 20 and 315 mm ; usual wall thickness ; operating pressures between PN 4 and PN 16.

The HDPE pipes made from PE 80 and PE 100 used in the realization of the distribution of pipelines for fresh water, draining (heat-sealable coupling), irrigations, fuel-gas distribution, communication systems protection. The entire company organization has implemented at the base the Quality Management System according to SR EN ISO 9001:2001.
