Brochure
Description:
It is a brochure that has text wrapping and paragraph styles. It is made in InDesign and has a logo and photos.

Set up and align a two-sided, folded document. Create an original company logo and use it in a brochure. Incorporate quality images.

Process:

First, I set up my margins and put my guidelines on my document. Then I put my logo from another project on the front. I put all the little pictures on the side of my inside, so they can be seen when the brochure is opened or closed. I put the title on the front and put the two lines at the top on the front and back. I put the contact information and the picture on the back. I edited a picture in Photoshop, and then I put it in the bottom left corner of the inside. I text wrapped around that image. Then I made red and blue boxes and put text in them. I created paragraph styles for the heading and body copy.

Letterhead
Description:
A letterhead that has a logo and contact information. The logo is created in Adobe Illustrator, and the letterhead is made in InDesign. It goes along with the business card.

Create a new logo to fit a company or personal image. Design consistent layouts for a letterhead. Use the basic tools of Illustrator & InDesign.

Process:

First, I found a picture of Shawn having a vision. Then, I traced around the picture with the pen tool. I deleted the old picture when I was done. I moved the image over to an InDesign document. I adjusted the image to the size I wanted and put it in the top left corner of my letterhead. I wrote out the contact information and put it on the right side. I aligned it to the right. I made a bar that matched Shawns shirt.

Business Card
Description:
A business card that has a logo and contact information. The logo is created in Adobe Illustrator, and the business card is made in InDesign. It goes along with the letterhead.

Process:

First, I found a picture of Shawn having a vision. Then, I traced around the picture with the pen tool. I deleted the old picture when I was done. For my business card, I made an outline of it. Then, I resigned my image of Shawn and placed him on the left. I put my contact information on the right and had the aligned to the left.

Logos

Process:

First, I found a guitar image. Then, I traced around the guitar image with the pen tool. I grouped the drawing together. For the top logo, I typed out Sammys Guitars and left out the y. I put the guitar in for the y. I put the word guitars closer to the word Sammys. For the middle logo, I turned the guitar and made it pretty big. I wrote Sammys Guitars on the neck of the guitar. For the bottom logo, I turned the guitar vertical and put a circle around it. Then, I wrote Sammys Guitars.

Size and optimize an original logo as a .png for a web page. Write content to describe the process of creating your logo and how it appeals to a target audience. Design a web page using HTML to display the logo and content. Acquire a working knowledge of HTML and basic understanding of CSS. Identify hex colors for web design. Compress multiple files in a zipped folder to attach as one file.

Process:

I used TextWrangler, and I wrote HTML and CSS. I learned a lot by doing this project. I learned all about HTML and CSS. I made the grey the color of my guitar. I put my background as guitars. I made my fonts Verdana and Palatino Linotype. The word count is 236. I aligned things and repeated colors. The grey and the white have a good contrast.

Flier
Description:
It is a black and white promotional flier to promote a graduate leadership conference.

Process:

The first thing I did was make a couple of sketches. Then I picked my favorite sketch and started working on my flier. My title is large and had a lot of contrast so that it is the first thing the eye sees. I pick the picture of the graduate smiling because the girl was looking left. This helped give my flier some flow. I picked two fonts that look good together and dont conflict with each other. I gave my flier plenty of white space. I used Adobe InDesign make my project.

Montage

Learn to manage Photoshop layers. Learn to blend images together smoothly, using masks. Use filters. Apply appropriate typography. Caryn Esplin It is a montage that has a filter and a blended image.

Process:

I found the images from the internet and saved them. I sized the images to what I wanted. I put the building image in first. Then I put in the image of the flag and the mountie and masked them into the picture. I put a warming filter 85 on the flag. Then I put the text in.

Imaging

Learn basic photography skills. Use a digital camera to take a quality image, then download it. Size and crop the image. Adjust image brightness, contrast, hue and saturation levels. Use a selection tool to isolate a portion of the image. Desaturate the selected portion of the image. Use a filter or colorize a portion of the image. Caryn Esplin It is a cropped personal photograph that has a filter and part of it desaturated.

Process:

I took a picture using the rule of thirds and gave the truck leading room. Then I used Photoshop to crop the picture into a 66 image. I set my margins correctly. Then I selected the area around the truck, and I then selected the inverse. I desaturated the area around the truck.

Event Ad
Description:
It is a color full-bleed event ad to promote a fundraiser using only Microsoft Word and a scanner.

Process:

I scanned the flower image in. I made a black background. I made the header have a pink background and black font. I made the body copy pink. Then I removed the background of the rose. I changed the brightness of the rose.
