I. SCOPE : This specification covers the supply of outdoor terminations accessories for 0.6/1KV - 3x95+1x50mm2 or 3x50+1x25mm2 cable. II. STANDARD OF MANUFACTURE AND TEST : VDE 0278 : Power cable accessories with rated voltage up to 30KV. III. DESCRIPTION : 1. The termination shall be of outdoor, heat or cold shrink type used to make the cable termination for underground cable 0.6/1KV. 2. Technical characteristics of cable : - Insulation of cable : XLPE - Voltage rating : 0.6/1KV - Core size : + 3x95 + 1x50 mm2 + 3x50 + 1x25 mm2 - Conductor material : Copper - Armour : Steel wires - Outside diameter of cable 3x95 + 1x50 mm2 : 43mm - Outside diameter of cable 3x50 + 1x25 mm2 : 37mm 3. Technical requirement : - AC withstand voltage : 4KV AC for 15 minute between each conductor and other conductor. - Impulse voltage withstand : + 10 positive impulses : 8KV + 10 negative impulses : 8KV - Load cycling : According to VDE 0278 - DC voltage withstand : 15KV for 5 minutes. 4. Accessories : Description Copper crimp lugs for copper conductor 3x95 + 1x50 + 3 for conductor of 95mm2 + 1 for conductor of 50mm2 IV. TESTING REQUIREMENT : 1. Type testing items :

2. Requirements : In order to ensure the quality of supplied goods , in case of bid winning , the Tenderer shall supply copies of type test report met the following requirements: Type test report shall be approved by an lawful, reputable, independent testing laboratory with the following content : - Testing sample : The same as the supplied item (manufacturer, original country, manufactures code as specified in tender document). - Testing items : Including testing items as specified in Section IV.1 of this specification. - Testing values shall be corresponding values as stated in Section III of this specification. If in section III, there are no corresponding values, testing values will be selected according to the standard specified in section II of this specification. V. REQUIREMENT OF TENDER TECHNICAL DOCUMENT : - Technical description, data sheets, catalogues and other material submitted with the quotation must enable the buyers engineers to thoroughly evaluate the proposals as to its compliance with the inquiry specifications. - Minimum requirements : + Detailed summary of deviations to inquiry specification + Completed inquiry data sheet expressed at section VI + Catalogues containing outline dimensions, electrical installation details + Certificate of quality management.
