KRD is being organized according to their following roles Tactical Intelligence Security and Strategic Intelligence Mapping and Arial Photography Electronic Warfare Espionage and Counter Intelligence Psychological Warfare Very little information being disclosed publicly about this intelligence corps due to the secretive nature of their work. What little is known about their organization structure as follows. KRD is commanded by a Director General of Military Intelligence (Ketua Pengarah Perisikan Pertahanan - KPPP) cum Chairman of the Royal Intelligence Corps. The organization is divided as follows Military Intelligence Staff Division (Bahagian Staf Perisikan Pertahanan - BSPP) Plan and implement the acquisition, processing and dissemination of materials with regards to operational and strategic intelligence, and psychological operations and warfare. It's role as the leading agency in channeling intelligence information to MAF and other relevant government agencies. 91 Combat Intelligence Special Regiment (Rejimen Khas Perisikan Tempur - RKPT) Tactical Assault Unit of the Intelligence Corps came under direct operational control of KPPP. Role is to acquire combat intelligence information and destroy the enemy thru special operations. 92 Military Intelligence Special Branch - MISB (Anggota Tentera Cawangan Khas - ATCK) Acquire, process and dissemination of operational intelligence information concerning internal security for Security Forces consumption. 93 Electronic Warfare Signals Regiment (Rejimen Semboyan Peperangan Electronic - RPSE) Responsible on all aspects of electronic warfare in accordance with directive from KPPP and other intelligence units. Intelligence Branch (Cawangan Perisikan) Advisory staff to the Chief of the Army on matters related to tactical, counter-intelligence, psychological operations and electronic warfare. Advisory service to Chief of the Army on intelligence operations especially in areas of tactical intelligence, counter-intelligence, psychological operations and electronic warfare. Intelligence Directorate (Jabatan Arah Risik) Responsible for overall development of Intelligence Corps in areas of operation, training, programs, technical and affair of the Intelligence Corps.
