Please note this pattern uses UK terms. Head Make a magic loop & ch 1. Round 1: 6 dc in magic loop (6 sts). Round 2: 2 dc in each st to end (12 sts). Round 3: [2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st] to end (18 sts). Round 4: [2 dc in next st, 1 dc in each of next 2 sts] to end (24 sts). Rounds 5 & 6: 1 dc in each st to end. Round 7: [dc2tog, 1 dc in each of next 2 sts] to end (18 sts). Round 8: [dc2tog, 1 dc in next st] to end (12 sts). Round 9: dc2tog to end (6 sts). Sl st to next st, stuff head firmly & weave in ends. Bun Leaving a long tail, make a magic loop & ch 1. Round 1: 6 dc in magic loop (6 sts). Round 2: 2 dc in each st to end (12 sts). Round 3: 1 dc in each st to end. Round 4: dc2tog to end (6 sts). Sl st to next st & fasten off. Break yarn leaving a long tail. Stuff bun with beginning yarn tail & use end yarn tail to sew bun to back of head. Body Make a magic loop & ch 1. Round 1: 6 dc in magic loop (6 sts). Round 2: 2 dc in each st to end (12 sts). Round 3: [2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st] to end (18 sts). Rounds 4-11: 1 dc in each st to end. Sl st to next st, fasten off & break yarn.

Materials: Yarn - DK weight in grey Hook - 3mm Notions - stitch marker (optional), darning needle This stuffie is worked in a spiral. Do not join rounds. If required, use a stitch marker to denote start of round. Finished size is approx 2.75" tall. Tension is unimportant but you do need a good tight fabric.

Base Make a magic loop & ch 1. Round 1: 6 dc in magic loop (6 sts). Round 2: 2 dc in each st to end (12 sts). Round 3: [2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st] to end (18 sts). Attach base to bottom of body by working the following (round 4) into back loop only of base & front loop only of round 11 of body (remember to stuff body firmly first!). Round 4: Round 4: [2 dc in next st, 1 dc in each of next 2 sts] to end (24 sts). Sl st to next st, fasten off yarn & weave in ends. Sew head to body at a slight angle so that the angel is looking downwards. Arms (make 2) Make a slip knot & ch 11. Skip 1st ch & work [4 htr, 1 sl st] in next ch (this makes the hand). Fasten off. Use the beginning tail to sew arm to shoulder area of body & end tail to sew hand to face. Wings Leaving a long beginning tail, make a slip knot & ch 7. Working in top loop only of beginning chain, work as follows. Row 1(RS): 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook, 1 dc in each of next 5 ch, ch 4, turn. Row 2: skip 1st chain, 1 dc in each of next 3 ch, 1 dc in each of next 5 sts, 2 dc in last st, turn. Row 3: Ch 2, 1 tr in first st, 2 tr in next st, 1 tr in each of next 2 sts, 1 htr in each of next 2 sts, 1 dc in each of next 2 sts, 1 sl st in each of next 2 sts. Fasten off & break yarn.

With WS facing, rejoin yarn to opposite side of beginning chain. Working in unused loops, work as follows. Row 1: Ch 1, 1 dc in same st, 1 dc in each of next 5 ch, ch 4, turn. Row 2: skip 1st chain, 1 dc in each of next 3 ch, 1 dc in each of next 5 sts, 2 dc in last st, turn. Row 3: Ch 2, 1 tr in first st, 2 tr in next st, 1 tr in each of next 2 sts, 1 htr in each of next 2 sts, 1 dc in each of next 2 sts, 1 sl st in each of next 2 sts. Fasten off & break yarn. Weave in all ends except beginning tail. Use this tail to sew centre of wings down centre back of body.
