work for DMCC and look after its any Project that is assigned, now a days working for one of the projects i.e. faqir plaza. Maintains accounts, financial reports, DM Cost Cards, Balance sheets, Tally sheets, supplier account

Zulqarnain Babar is an employee at DMCC (Dollar Maintenance Construction Company), he is maintaining the accounts of their one of the projects i.e. Faqir Plaza. He is Accounts manager there. He is controlling and answerable for 6 more employees, working under his subordination. He knows about the competencies, knowledge and skills that he has mentioned. He claimed that he possesses all these skills and knowledge that are discussed as under:

Numerical competence: He said that he is good in numbers that is basic step for anyone to be an accountant. He claimed that he has an aptitude towards numbers. Subject Knowledge: An accountant must have knowledge about the field i.e. accountancy. Communication skills: He said that communication skills are most important skill to get the work done appropriately. He claimed that he is good at communicating with subordinates.

Team player: He said that an accountant must be a team player, he claimed that he is a good team player while doing the work with seniors and his juniors as well.

Interpersonal skills: He mentioned interpersonal skills as an important skill to have in order to get the effective and efficient work done. Problem solving: He said that an accountant must have skills to solve problems Time management: He should be able to manage the time accordingly. An accountant must be able to manage the time according to work, projects, and its priorities. Professionalism: he should be very professional. Computer skills: The relevant computer applications and software should be known by accountant. For example; Word, excel, peach tree

He added that a good environment has been provided to him in order to get work done, effectively and efficiently. He said that the access to all the relevant data has been ensured in to order to have consistent reports making. He claimed that the organization provides different sources for learning so that he could know about the latest research in his field. He said a good team is being provided to him. He said that all necessary tools and applications are there to work on. He said important trainings are being made by the organization. He said that he is very motivated because he is earning a handsome amount of salary; he is also earning project based incentives. i.e. if project has been completed on time the whole will enjoy the incentives. He can also earn overtime in the duration of excessive work load time.

He said he is, with his team, being judged and monitored on the basis of working for any specific project in a given time. He added that he is quit contented about his time in DMCC and with the operations in DMCC as well. He said that his compliant nature, attitude towards learning and behavior of hard work helped him a lot to be the part of this organization and development on the way of progress as well, in the field of accountancy as an accountant.
