LED Lighting
Light emitting diode is a semiconductor based light source. Like diode, LED consists of a chip of semiconductor material having p-n junctions. With the applied DC Voltage, the unidirectional current flows from p side to n side. Charge carriers electrons meets a hole while flowing into junction falls to a energy level and releases energy in the form of light. The effect is called as electro luminescence. The colour of light is determined by energy levels of the material forming the p-n junction. The LED being small in areas are used with a integrated optical component to direct its light at an desired angle. Legacy
Legacy Plus
Legacy is a Industrial Batten suitable for use with single or twin fluorescent lamps of 36w & 40w. The Luminaire consists of following : m CRCA sheet steel coated housing suitably coated in white to improve resistance against corrosion. m Push fit type lamp holders made of ABS and having electrical grade brass contacts and universal starter in case of luminaires with open construction copper wound ballast. m The Batten is provided with energy efficient magnetic ballast. As an option the luminaire can be also provided with high frequency electronic ballast having power factor 0.95. The luminaire is completely prewired upto terminal block and can be installed on the surface with screws or can be suspended from the surface using 2 nos., 19 mm conduit.

Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL): Technically CFL is an improved and compact version of Fluorescent Tubular Lamp (FTL). It has wide rating to suit any kind of lighting solutions, specially indoors. Basically CFL has two categories: Non-Retrofit and Retrofit. Non-Retrofit CFL are used with luminaires, where Ballast is the part of the luminaires. Whereas Retrofit CFL are integrated with electronic ballast and used as an ideal replacement to GLS Bulbs. CFL saves upto 80% Energy, compared to GLS Bulbs and has more than 5 times life. CFL comes in different colours to suit the various applications. T5 Fluorescent Lamps (FTL): T5-FTL is the compact and sleeker version of Fluorescent Tubular Lamp. It comes in 16mm dia of tube and offered in 14w & 28w, against 18w & 36w of normal FTL. It lasts for more than 10,000 burning hours when operated with electronic ballast. It comes in different colours to suit the various applications. Metal Halide Lamps (MHL): MHL is the advanced technology lighting solution for sharp outdoor lighting. It is the ideal replacement to Halogen & Mercury Lamps in Area and Street lighting. MHL are UV rays protected and comes in Quartz Glass casing. It gives higher luminous efficacy upto 80/85 lumen per watt. It comes in different shapes and ratings for various applications.
Exal
Exal is a Extruded Aluminum Industrial Batten suitable for use with single or twin energy efficient fluorescent lamp of T5 28w. The Luminaire consists of following : m Extruded aluminum Channel & reflector. m Decorative end caps for lamp holders. m Push fit type lamp holders made of ABS and having electrical grade brass contacts and universal starter. m Electronic ballast having power factor of 0.90. m The luminaire is provided with extruded aluminum reflector.
The luminaire is completely prewired upto terminal block and can be installed on the surface with the help of snap out connecting wire provided in the center of the luminaire.

Ballast : Two types of ballasts are offered (1) Electromagnetic Ballast (Copper wound open construction ballast) & (2) High Frequency Electronic Ballast. The Magnetic Ballasts are available for Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) ranging from 9w to 36w & Fluorescent Tubular Lamp (FTL) ranging from 18w to 40w. The Electronic Ballast are available for CFL ranging from 9w to 36w & FTL ranging from 14w to 40w. High Efficiency electronic ballast offers flicker free , low energy consumption thereby low losses & improved circuit efficiency. These ballasts are available THD<30% & <10% with power factor improvement ranging from 0.95 to 0.995 respectively.
