Instructional strategies
- Let students use the computer lab to research topics about gun laws/current events/etc/ - Encourage students to take a side about gun laws
- Teacher will facilitate debate - Students will choose a side regarding this question: Gun control vs. Gun Rights (see rubric)
- Discuss the meaning of the 9th Amendment and how citizens and the government interpret it - Focus on women and civil rights today
