1. THE COMPANY: THE HISTORY
STUDIO ARTEA S.R.L. (limited liability company) is a company which offers

planning and technical general services, has a very high qualified
professional staff and is capable to cover with its services a very wide
range of activities sectors (architecture, interior design, materials
engineering, general technological systems, environment, project
standardization, data processing systems, supplies, etc.).
STUDIO ARTEA S.R.L. was established in 1990 and, throughout years of

experience, has extended its solid capabilities in planning, in works
management, in studies and researches not only into the civil works
sector but also in the most recent fields of environment, energy,
recovering and restoration of cultural patrimony, resources planning
and management.
The global experience in such different fields, makes STUDIO ARTEA a

valid interlocutor to solve the different problems, relating to the global
management of real estate patrimonies.
In the same time, the customers level has improved and STUDIO ARTEA
has now, among its customers, main Italian and International
Companies, as well as various Public and Government Agencies.
STUDIO ARTEA has its head office in Rome but, in the year 2005, for the XX
Winter Olympic Games of Turin 2006 – Italy, a branch office was opened
in Turin.

2. COMPANY ORGANIZATION CHART
STUDIO ARTEA S.R.L is structured as the following organization chart, in

which the main professional qualified staff is mentioned.
Such organization is obviously flexible, depending on the needs of the
projects in process.
Following the Company Quality System, a Project Manager is nominated
for each order. He is responsible for all the operational activities for the
execution of the ordered project and takes care of the relationship with
the client.
STUDIO ARTEA, can count on very important and specialized professional
figures, which cooperate even with Rome Universities, among them:
- Prof. Arch. Francesco Bianchi, professor at the Roma Tre University,
an international expert in acoustics science and
lighting/illumination engineering (General Director of our partner
Arch System Company);
- Prof. Arch. Mario Panizza, Vice Principal of Roma Tre University and
professor of architectonic planning;
- Dr. Arch. Leonardo D’Onofrio, assistant professor at Rome
University and expert in architectures virtual rendering and referee
for Bentley Microstation in italy (architecture area).

3. ACTIVITY FIELDS
Studio Artea operates in the followings activity fields:

General and civil construction (such as project planning, renewals,
buildings, structures) from the feasibility project until the executive
project.
• INTERIOR DESIGN
Project planning, counseling and project management in the field of
interior design planning and decoration.
• STRUCTURES AND MATERIALS ENGINEERING

Structures projects: preliminary, feasibility and executive studies;
researches and characterization of the most suitable materials for each
project, to make its realization very appropriate.
• ENVIRONMENT
Studies regarding the environment area and on the possibilities to
preserve the water resources, planning of the best solutions either with
preliminary and executive projects of new infrastructures or the
enlargement of the existing ones (wastewater purifying systems, sewer
systems and water networks).

Technical systems projects in the construction field (thermal and air-
conditioning systems, fire prevention systems and electrical systems,
acoustics science and lighting/illumination engineering etc.).

and museum arrangements, together with supporting activities for their
safe conservation .

The real estate complexes management activity consists in;
architectonic, structural, technical systems reliefs, structures control,
creation of an ordered technical and administrative documentation
system regarding the control and the renewal of registration at the
general land office of the buildings.
This activity may need also the creation of database and data
processing systems.
• CONSTRUCTION YARDS SECURITY

STUDIO ARTEA S.R.L. is certified for the security systems services according
to the Italian law in the construction yards.

STUDIO ARTEA S.R.L. usually carries on a market survey among different
suppliers and acts as an intermediary between the main suppliers of
construction materials and electromechanical equipments and the
customers.
4. SOFTWARES RESOURCES
STUDIO ARTEA S.R.L. uses MICROSOFT WINDOWS and LINUX softwares. The
Company also is a developers for CAD (Computer Aided Design)
program on CAD platform and Bentley System.
5. QUALITY SYSTEM
STUDIO ARTEA S.R.L. has an international certificate for Quality System

Management which fulfils the requirements of the following rule: UNI EN
ISO 9001/2000, for the activity of “integrated management and co-

A brief comment about the above mentioned follows:
A. COMMERCIAL SITES
A1. Commercial premises
The project activity regarding commercial premises has comprised:
- the design of the retail shops (see for example the new McDonald’s
in Aversa and the inside of the commercial centre of Termini railway
station in Rome);
- “serial” project plannings, meaning various sites having the same
“style” , such as the four Bingo halls realized in Italy, whose project has
included not only the rooms but also all the accessories services (bar,
restaurant, etc….);

- the relief and the project planning of the new 350 premises of the
Italian Mail Service and the show-rooms of Honda, Chrysler and
Hyundai agents of Vignuzzzi Group in Italy.
It is reported also the co-ordination activity, which is still in progress, of

recovering and restoration works in the architectonic and
archaeological fields, as well as monitoring campaigns about the
preservation conditions of the cultural patrimony.
Among the said projects we can distinguish the projects for the
recovering and the restoration of the roman ships founded in Ravenna,
Pisa and Ercolano and their museums arrangements.
F. ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING
In this field the project planning goes from sewerage systems projects, to
wastewater purification systems projects and aqueducts networks
projects, description of which are attached hereunder.

water supply system by reducing leaks in the drinking water networks
in the Puglia Region (client: Ente Autonomo Acquedotto Pugliese,

the Puglia and Basilicata Regions, and for the creation of a database
regarding the historical objects) financed by the Ministry of Cultural
and Environmental Heritage in collaboration with the Ministry of

information system for the Urban Areas Department of the Ministry
Council Presidency.
He has obtained numerous assignments as Work Director or planner for

the environmental monitoring of various historical and archaeological
sites and findings in Italy, such has:

PROF. ARCH. FRANCESCO BIANCHI
ACOUSTIC SCIENCE AND LIGHTING/ILLUMINATION
ENGINEERING
Francesco Bianchi (born in Roma, December 13, 1941) graduated in

Architecture at the University of Rome in 1968. Then, he obtained a
specialization in Territorial Planning (FORMEZ-Naples) in 1970.
Professor Bianchi has a twenty-eight-year-old teaching experience

attained at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (1978-1992) and
University of Rome Tre (from 1992). He is an expert in various different
fields with primary emphasis on the following:
•
Professor in charge of Technical Physics and Systems at the
Faculty of Architecture
• Associate University Professor of "Lighting
Engineering/illumination engineering, Acoustics and Air
conditioning"
• Long experience as Director of Courses of Safety in
construction sites.
• Collaborates with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the
Cooperation Programs with Developing Countries (Angola
and Mozambique).
He is a Member of numerous associations such as the Italian Association
of Acoustics (AIA), the Italian Association of Lighting
Engineering/illumination Engineering (AIDI) and the IES Association
(Illumination Engineering Society of North America). Founding member of
the non-profit association “EuroAcustici” (www.euroacustici.org).
He is also in the process of carrying out research concerning techniques

of artistic lighting systems in city atmospheres within the Faculty of
Architecture of the University of Rome Tre, where he teaches Technical
Physics and Illumination Engineering. He is also Architectural and
environmental acoustics consultant. He is the author of many articles
and publications concerning lighting, acoustics and systems.

DR. ARCH. FRANCESCO BENVENUTI
ARCHITECTURE
He is an architect and is specialized in using Autocad 2D/3D software. In

occasion of European and Mediterranean Young Artists Biennal
Exhibition he has exposed at ROMA TRE University stand (in 1999) as well
as in occasion of the exhibition “Coming and Going Rome-Fayetteville –
Rome” (in 2003); in 2000-2001 has attended to several architecture
courses in Grenoble and Toulouse (both in France). In 2001 he has
worked at the Arkansas University – U.S.A.
DR. ENG. FRANCESCO BERTOCCI

SOFTWARES/HARDWARE RESOURCES
TECHNICAL SYSTEMS
He has a degree in mechanical Engineering. He carries out relief and

electrical systems projects, as well as thermal and air-conditioning
systems projects for big public infrastructures (such as national railways,
airports and hospitals).
In our company he also coordinates the maintenance activities
regarding software and hardware.
DR. DORETTA COCOZZELLO

GENERAL AFFAIRS AND ADMINISTRATION DEPT.
QUALITY SYSTEM DIRECTOR
She is a sociologist. In our company takes care of the general affair dept.
as well as the administrative dept and the quality system dept. She has
many year of experience as a bilingual secretary (English-Italian) in
construction companies specialized in public works and she has also
worked in the multinational Bridgestone/Firestone Europe Technical
Center. Finally she has many years of work experience abroad.

DR. ENG. ARIANNA CORRENTE
ENVIRONMENT
She is an engineering specialized in the environment and territory fields.

She has collaborated several years with Nuove Acque S.p.A., a leader
company in Italy for the reorganization and the management regarding
the water networks; moreover she has collaborated in the drafting of an
Investment Plan with an International team. She has made many surveys
on the spot to check aqueducts installations and sewer systems.
In our company she carries out activity projects regarding water
infrastructures.
DR. ARCH. LEONARDO D’ONOFRIO
He is an architect. He has carried out many activities concerning

feasibility and executive projects, restructures and administrative re-
ordering in the public and private construction field. He has collaborated
in the residential and services projects for Maluku (ZAIRE) town; he has
taken care of the relief, planning and restoration of middle ages
buildings in Bassano in Teverina (Viterbo – Italy); he has carried out
project, design and artistic management activities for the Sabaudia
Shipyard (Italy).
DR. ARCH. ILARIA GENTILUCCI

REAL ESTATE SERVICES – RESTORATION – PROJECT
STANDARDIZATION
She is an architect expert in the architectonic relief and design of

buildings. She has a large experience in historical sites restorations, in
particular in renewal and restoration of historical and artistic buildings.
She has collaborated in several restoration monuments projects with Dr.
Arch. Paolo Marconi, who is a well known architect in the restoration field
in Italy as well in Europe. Moreover she has participated in executive
projects regarding the construction and technological systems fields in
accordance with the security and fire prevention laws.

DR. ARCH. SILVIA IZZI
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
She is an architect and has carried out several industrial plants projects.
She is collaborating with the Architecture faculty of Roma Tre University
as an assistant in the project and data processing laboratories. She has
participated in “The Ideas Competition” for the Public Advertising
Organization “Parque de las Palmeras” in Garrucha (Spain).
DR. ENG VINCENZO MESSINA

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR – STRUCTURES AND MATERIALS DEPT –
CONSTRUCTION YARDS MANAGEMENT
He is an engineer specialized in structures, he has collaborates for several

years with the Prof. Eng. R. Morandi in Rome – who was a leader in Italy in
the construction and structures field. In our company he carries out
relevant projects regarding infrastructures in the transportation
engineering and geo-technical field, as well as projects regarding
buildings and special structures. He is a developer of G.I.S. systems for
Public Agencies. He has carried out relief and design activities.
DR. ARCH. DANIELA NARDINI

INTERIOR DESIGN
She is an architect specialized in interior design and urban decoration.

She has collaborated in the garden projects of “Les Villas” and Villa
Fusco in the Cavallo Island (Corsica – France), as well as of Villa Gioia in

TARGET The present project came after other operations to protect the water
resources.
The realization of this project is necessary to eliminate the problem of waste
waters entering the Tronto River, which doesn’t have a purification system,
and are consequently causing a pollution of the superficial waters and also
of the thermal water of Karst-formation underneath, which are very
important for the thermal baths.
SERVICE CHARACTERISTICS
SERVICE After an analysis of the territory and of the existing systems, a study was

systems of the little towns, which didn’t have a water purification system, in
such a way to make this operation economically profitable.
Different standard types of purification systems were analyzed, to find the

FUNCTIONAL IMPROVEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
DESCRIPTION
Project for the functional improvement and the development of the wastewater
treatment facility located in Corbaia, Montepulciano Municipality - Tuscany.

PROJET CHARACTERISTICS
LOCATION
The project consists in the enlargement of Corbaia sewage
treatment in such a way to be able to purify the sanitary waters of
9.000 inhabitants.
TARGET The project has the target to improve the wastewater treatment
system, either from the point of view of the quantity or of the quality,
and in the same time to improve the service in accordance with the
latest Italian laws, through also the enlargement of the structures
presently in use.
SERVICES After a preliminary study of the site, a report was written about the
DESCRIPTION state of the wastewater purifying system, pointing out the targets to
be achieved with the new works and the changes to be make,
making a very detailed description of them, together with the
calculation of dimensions and obtainable results.
The project was completed with a metrical computation and project
plans.
CHARACTERISTICS It was also provided the executive project for the building of the new
wastewater treatment facility.

TRE BERTE – TUSCANY – AQUEDUCT
ENLARGEMENT
DESCRIPTION
Preliminary project for the enlargement of the aqueduct serving the Montellese, Tre Berte
and Salcheto little towns in the Chiusi Municipality(Siena – Tuscany - Italy)
CUSTOMER
Nuove Acque S.p.A.
LOCATION Main water pipe of the aqueduct which actually serves the
Acquaviva, Salcheto and Tre Berte Municipalities and which consists
in a steel water pipe with a 125 mm diameter.
The line is served by the Vivo Aqueduct, and Fisiville wells, which are
located in Trequanda Municipality, and communicate with the
Acquaviva tank, which serves also the Montepulciano scalo area, in
Tuscany – italy.
TARGET New service lines for the rural houses situated near the main urban
towns.
