Abstract

Title of the project: Web Based Mail Client Existing System: In present situation the organization workflow will be done in manual approach for communication between employees and which takes much time to complete the work. In this approach any employee may not be known about the information that which the other employees were doing. To avoid this problem we are going to introduce an online application to provide communication between employees. Proposed System: The main concept of Web Based Mail Client is to develop the communication among all the employees of the same organization through network. Major operations involved in this project are, any user can send mails to their colleagues and also he/she can view mails from others also. In addition with these features user can create new folders and can store the mails in a separate folder based up on his/her convenience. So that managing mails becomes very easy to the employees. This application mainly consist four modules as follows. 1. Mailing Module: This module is all about user of this portal. By using this module users can do some operations like sending mails to other colleagues, receive mails from others etc. employee can handle following functionalities. Inbox: All the mails what we receive will be stored in the inbox. Compose: When ever user want to send a mail to other, he/she can compose a mail. Change Password: User can change his/her password at any time. 2. Folders Module:
This module is all about folders which performs the following functionalities:

o o o Add folders: User can create new folders. Moving selected mails to folders Viewing mails from folders

Deleting folders

3. Address Module: User can store addresses of his colleagues of his own interest & he can do following: b. Adding address c. Viewing all addresses d. Deleting address

4. Admin Module: This module is purely for an administrator of an organization. By using this module administrator can get over all reports like no. of users of this portal, addresses of all users etc. Software Engineering Methodology: Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD Standards)
