Danielle Dean hated being the last of her kind. She was sheltered and protected that went beyond bearable. If they had been human bodyguards then she might have had fun making plans to escape them, butno, she was not that lucky. He was a great, big man, topping seven feet with muscle packed on his body. He had a broad face with jet balc hair, liberally sprinkled with dark grey hair on the sides. His nose looked like it had been broken a few times and his hard, thin lis never cracked a smile unless he was smirking or taunting one of his trainees. But the thing that scared the most abut him was his scar. He had truly beautiful green eyes but the left side of his face ws marred by a hideous scar. It ran red and angry from his temple, through his eye straight down his cheeks and ended below his jaw. It looked like he had fallen face down a large black. It make his left eye a filmy green. He was by no streach of thw word handsome, not like his much younger brother ad his scar did not halp matters. Everything about him intimaeted her, frm his big size to his large growl, but most specially his deeds. He was a killer and he was her guardian. Sit, the Alpha growled, his green eyes following her every movement and seemed to find each one lacking. Danielle was too scared to scowl at his high handed manners, just as she always had been and suspected she always would be. Progress! he barked at her. Danielles head popped up to look at him before she quickly averted her gaze. Its fine, Danielle croaked. Rhihannon kept him up to date on her progress but he still took the time to hear it from her.

Whats fine, Danielle? I expect more than two words, the Alpha seemed incabale of not growling. Daneille took a fortifying breath. Ive, Ive manged a few spells of my own, you know the general stuff. Levitation, candles, and all those stuff. Ive mastered an illusion spell, Danielle offered, hoping that last bit of information would erase the frown that was forming on his face. Hunter kept rubbing a spot just over her temple until her wracking sobs gave way to a few whimpers.
