600 ci$es will generate 60% global GDP. The 600 city index will be very dierent in 15 years big shi@ east and south. By 2025, 136 new Ci$es will enter, all of them from the developing world and mostly China. Main growth will come from 600 middle-weight ci$es ( under 10 million) not mega-ci$es.

The new world that is developing is very much a city-oriented world. I bet the typical person living in New York or Los Angeles has a lot more in common with the typical person living in London or Stockholm than with someone living in the middle of Iowa.
