2013 Theme

The Church, if it has discerned what God is doing, would readily agree that it is no longer business as usual; God is doing a new thing. Therefore, theres no room or tolerance for being content with the status quo. God is anxiously waiting for His people to embrace Next Level Ministry by embracing the total truth of His Word through pure obedience.

Addison Grace Gordon, pictured below, was born on March 15, 2013 at 8:43 a.m. She weighed 7.9 oz. and measured 19.5" long. Addison is the first born of Brother and Sister Gordons youngest son and daughter-in-law Lewis and Dannielle (Wright) Gordon who were married on June 9, 2012, pictured to the left. They reside in Atlanta, GA where Lewis is a District Manager for the Condor Capital Corporation and Danielle is the Director of Small Group Sales for Adams Benefit Corporation. Lewis is a son of LCOGIC. He faithfully served on the Jr. Usher and Adult Usher Boards from the age of 10 years old until he entered college. LCOGIC is Godly proud!

Did you know that the Lansing Church of God in Christ has its very own computer learning lab? It is in the last room on the right in the classroom wing. The Guided Learning Centers (GLCs) purpose is to help you develop personally, professionally, and spiritually by equipping you technologically. Sister Joy Hoskins, Director of GLC wants to help you gain new computer skills; and at times just make the Center available for your use. Want to get a taste of how technology can help you study to show thyself approved and rightly divide the Word of God? Attend GLCs I.T.T. Series Bible Study Technology every 4th Wednesday ( April 24, May 22, and June 27.) GLC is also looking to build a team of organized, detail-oriented, computer savvy individuals and proficient users of Microsoft Office and other software applications! The Women's Department is reinstating the 'Sisters of Love Ministry' for ages 18 - 30. The Lansing COGIC Womens department will be putting on a production called You Dont Know My Story which will be based on our testimonies.
