Why Elijah Muhammad Couldnt Finish Theology of Time

When the Honorable Elijah Muhammad tried to continue his Theology of Time lecture series in 1972, he couldnt speak. He seemed to choke. All he could say was As-Salaam Alaikum. Later, we were told that God had stopped him from speaking because he was going too far into the teachings into the New Islam. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad was not free to just say whatever he wanted. Like all the masters, he was an initiated man who was under the Law. He was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. -- II Corinthians 12:4 The masters have limits on what they can reveal outside of audiences of other initiates. speak in parables, symbols, proverbs and codes. Every messenger or prophet has a particular grade she or he is authorized to teach. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad was only authorized to teach up to the Hereafter or up to the New Islam (i.e., Fitrah). His consciousness was so full however, that he really wanted (and tried) to get it out. I can sympathize and empathize with the poor man. For over 40 years hed fed Gerbers Baby Food to thousands and not one of his students had the slightest idea of what he was teaching.

And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. -- Revelation 12:2

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad was like that woman in Revelation who was pregnant with a new understanding (child) and pained to be delivered. So when wed bought the Messenger the Temple on Stoney Island Avenue, he couldnt resist the powerful urge to open his mouth and flood the global consciousness with the awesome wisdom that was in his heart and mind. But that wasnt his job. He wasnt thinking he was some type of race leader or religious leader whod taught some sort of fabricated brand of Islam. The divine leaders are called to make all kinds of sacrifices, and most dont even get a fair trial. As part of the initiation rite, traditional people instil a secret homing device that prevents or guards against revealing or betraying sacred knowledge. A person becomes incapacitated each time he feels drawn by his ego towards sensationalism in repeating secret information about the sacred. For example, an initiate cannot say or do something that would produce a miraculous effect in front of people who have not participated in the kind of initiation that

introduces people to these magical phenomena. So any person that feels the need to show power, and does so, is showing the end of his power at the same time. There are powers that, like a fish out of water, cannot function in the open air. In the village, the newly initiated person carries in himself something to prevent even inadvertent disclosure of sacred knowledge. This is what I call a homing device. It makes you feel like youre choking if you try to speak of this knowledge. And if you try to speak, it activates a certain suspension system within you causing you to choke. Like any initiate, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad was prevented from revealing any more than he already had in Theology of Time. Nor are initiates allowed to show their powers publicly. The Bible, Habakkuk, says, There was the hiding of his power. But to show power is to lose power. So the wise form secret societies and uninitiates (savages) get angry and suspicious because they dont gossip with them about their practices. An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of the prophet Jonas. -- Matthew 12:39 Sign also means miracle. The initiate is not authorized to show miracles to the public.
