You better do not disconnect the rs232 cable and small board.Use windows XP and DO not use a usb2serial it won't work - Step 1 Keep the box Powered OFF - Step 2 Updating of Secret chip Please make update of the secret chip.Use renewaes solo software (secupd111230.e xe) to update it.Connect RS232 small board with RS232 cable to computer COM port .Then run secupd111230.exe (please take a note of the right COM port) , and open solo scret.bin file and THEN Power ON solo receiver.You will see update progres s bar- Wait till it finish and then close it.Power OFF the box. - Step 3 Updating of Flash chip Box remaining in OFF position. Please make update flash chip.Connect RS232 small board with RS232 cable to comp uter COM port(if you had remove it by any reason). Start renewflash.exe, and cho ose upflash120227.bin file and hit the UPDATE button, THEN Power ON solo receive r. You will see update progress bar- Wait till it finish and then close it.Leave the box as it is. - Step 4 -Erase Flash chip. Connect RS232 small board with RS232 cable to computer COM port(if you had remov e it by any reason).Run ERASE126.exe and click ERASE button.Power OFF and then P ower ON. Do NOT do reset of the box. You will see update progress bar- Wait till it finish and then close it.Power OF F the box. Those are all steps for the updates - Step 5 Loading CFE boot loader Use cfe_solo_2.0 file -load it to a usb pen drive and then, make update. - Step 6 Flashing Image Choose your Favourite image load it to the usb pen drive and then ,make update. BLACK HOLE 2.0.0 OE 2 The Black Hole Image 2.0.0 is completely new and based on the new Vu+ OE. We use

FEEDS PLUGINS Green panel> Addons> Addons Download Manager> Black Hole Feeds Plugins. In addition to the plugins on the addons server, now we have available a separat e section for about 80 classic Enigma2 plugins which in the past often did not w ork due to incompatibility with version or architecture (e.g. BitrateViewer etc. ..). The Black Hole server actually searches the servers auto matically checking for updates of settings and will automatically package them a nd make them available in the panel as they become available. When the user ente rs the panel, The Black Hole image will automatically check the version of insta lled settings and proceed to the update. OPTION TO DISABLE EIT FOR EPG AND EVENTS Main menu -> Epg Panel -> Global Settings. The EIT (Event Information Table) is a form of immediate epg which usually cover s only two events (now and next), which usually is very capable and functional. However, this form of epg also tends to overwrite the epg that is in the cache, although it is often more accurate and complete. But for those who are used to downloading a full epg package with CrossEPG or on e of the other methods it can be very useful to disable the EIT so that the epg is not overwritten. AUTOMATIC AUDIO LANGUAGE SELECTION Main menu -> Black Hole Apps -> Auto language selection setting This feature was originally implemented by the Pli team. The function allows you to set a list of four preferred languages that will be a utomatically selected when you switch to channels with multiple audio tracks. This is very useful when zapping channels with foreign languages that also broad cast the original soundtrack. In this case it will automatically select the pref erred language. The list is in order of importance so if your first language cho ice isn't an option it will switch to your second or third choice. You also have the option to give preference to Ac3 soundtracks if they are avail able.
