I think it is incredibly important for teachers to be involved in choosing and purchasing the different forms of technology that will be used in their classroom. Every professional uses different teaching methods. If the teacher is not involved in this process, money could be wasted. It is unnecessary to purchase devices that a teacher wont use in their classroom, but it is necessary to buy items that will be utilized to benefit students. By being involved in this process, teachers can select devices that will be used regularly in their classrooms, and learn about new items that could prove useful. Different forms of technologies are important to different teachers, so it is important that they are involved in the purchasing of technologies to better benefit the students in their classroom!
