I. Acknowledging you are a sinner: "All we, like sheep, have gone astray; we have turned everyone unto his own way;and the Lord hath laid on him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all." Isaiah 53: 6 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 "For the wages of sin is death,but the gift of God is eternal life; through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23 "know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death or of obedience unto righteousness? " Romans 6:16 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness." Romans 1:18 "For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid! Let God be true and every man a liar." Romans 3:3 "Now we know that God heareth NOT sinners; but if any man be a worshipper of God and doeth His will, him He heareth." John 9:31 II Acknowledging Jesus as the Messiah, and the one who forgives sin: Jesus said, "For God so the world, that HE gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him, might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:16-18 Jesus said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because HE hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. Luke 9:56 "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not on the Son shall not see Life; but the wrath of God abideth in him." Confessing your sins, repenting (turning away from) of evil and acknowledging that Jesus's sacrifice on the Cross set you free of sin: "Jesus answered and said unto him,'Verily, verily, I say unto you,unless a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God." John 3:3 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus , and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead,thou shalt be saved." IV Be Baptized as a public acknowledgement of being raised from the dead, old man to the new life, eternal. "Therefoe we are buried with Him by baptism into death, that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of His death, we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection." Romans 6:4-5 "Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:11 V. Follow Jesus's teachings and example: "And He (Jesus) said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily, and follow me." Luke 9:23 Jesus said,"But whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man, be ashamed, when He shall come in His Own Glory, and in His Father's ;and of the angels." luke 9:26 Jesus said,"let your light so shine before men,that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets, I am not come to destroy but to fulfill.For verily, i say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore, shall break one of these commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven." For if you love them, which love ye, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans the same? " Matthew 5:44-45 Jesus said, "What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light; and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops." Matthew 10:27 Jesus said,"For by thy words that shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." Matthew 12:37 "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.This is the First and greatest commandment.And the second is like unto it: thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said,"And be not called Rabbi, for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father, upon the earth; for one is your Father, which is in heaven.Neither be ye called Masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.But he that is greatest among you, shall be your servant.And whosoever shall exalt himself, shall be abased;and he that shall humble himself, shall be exalted." Matthew 23:8-12 "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,' all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; teaching them to observe all things whatsoever i have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always,even to the end of the world. Amen" Matthew 28:18-20

VI. Receive the Holy Ghost Power to live life and overcome! "Jesus answered, verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God." John 3:5 Jesus said, "But the Comforter,which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance,whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace, I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,neither let it be afraid." John 14:26-27 ""But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. Now, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead to sin, but the Spirit is Life because of righteousness.But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead, dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead, shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you. " Romans 8:9-11 "For we have not received the Spirit of Bondage again to fear;but ye have received the Spirit of Adoption, whereby we cry, ABBA, FATHER.The Spirit Itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God." Romans 8:15-16 Jesus said, "God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth." John 4:24 Jesus said, "I beheld satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents,and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall be any means hurt you." Luke 10:19 "And behold a certain lawyer stood up and tempted him saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He (Jesus) said unto him,What is written in the law? How readest thou? And he (the lawyer) answering said,Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might (strength) , and with all thy mind and thy neighbor as thyself.
