Background Job Processing

1. Execute your program and provide the parameter values and save the parameter in a variant.

Save the variant.

Now a new symbol for variant gets generated on the selection screen

2. Now go to transaction SM36 to schedule the job.

Go to Start Conditions Tab. There one can schedule the job immediately or after certain event or on certain time. Here Date/Time is chosen. Again the job can be made periodic so that it will schedule on particular interval. Here Daily is chosen. By Debesh Page 1

3. Jobs can be executed manually from SM37 or executed job can be seen from there.
