At first glance, carbon arc lighting seems to be a completely outdated technology that no longer had any viable applications for decades... but that's about to change! Vince Electric is a company dedicated to the continuation of arc lighting's development. We believe the very first electrical light source created in history deserves to be upgraded with modern technology and brought back in use! The examples of possible uses of arc lighting in modern everyday life are numerous. If you need a perfectly white light, arc lighting is for you! Same thing with worklights, if you don't want to worry about a filament that can break.

Our n1 goal is to take arc lighting where it's never been before. If you have seen antique carbon arc lamps, you may have noticed that most were rather powerful in the several hundreds watts range , but did you know arc lamps could be made in smaller sizes? We are developing arc lamps using as little as 100W (and also higher power models). Being lowwattage and lightweight, they can be used as portable lamps. Our products are designed with safety in mind. A complete bundle of security features isn't an option for us, it's a MUST. This pre-sell catalog contains the products we're developing and should appear in the next version of the catalog.

Extended life carbon rods, up to 150% longer lifespan than our standard size 4 carbon rods. Marketed by Vince Electric as size 4XL. Fits in any of our arc lamps using size 4 carbon rods. Available with a brass cap if infallible electrical contact is critical.

Carbon rods with an exclusive sodium-based core that provides up to 130% more lumen output and a greater contrast. Available in size 3, 4 and 4XL. Not for use in open fixtures. Optimized for vertical, face-to-face operation. Visual end-of-life indicator to perform rods replacement when the arc is depleted of sodium.
