Recognized that solar and wind power systems were too complicated needed an Easy Button. Invented the worlds first rapidly deployable, expandable, drop-and-operate solar, wind, battery power systems. Built a staff, raised $6M from investors (CIAs strategic investment firm) and a major global energy company and grew company from an idea to market cap of $20M. Won millions of dollars of competitive bids and sales to Lockheed Martin, CIA, DHS, DOD, Verizon, etc., despite government spending slow down and increased competition. Overcame hundreds of complex engineering and technical problems to provide extreme reliability (four nines, 0.999) for the revolutionary power systems to operate with no fuel and virtually no maintenance from the arctic to deserts. Passed all 300 Army performance tests. Selected as one of top 20 companies for renewable energy investors by the New Energy Congress; articles in US News, Bloomberg, Wall St. Journal, etc. and won an Edison Award.

American Gas Association and Gas Industry Index Fund, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary 1976-1998 AGA is the major US and international trade association for the largest natural gas and electric utility companies (e.g., PG&E, Con-Ed, & SEMPRA) General Counsel and Staff Executive to the C-level, board of directors - many Fortune 100 companies Obtained hundreds of millions of dollars of new investment funds for members; and generated continuing royalty income for the association as a valuable new source of income. Helped create a publically traded mutual fund (GASFX) and became VP. Pioneered the first mutual fund made up of the members of a trade association. Now a $700M fund. Increased the Associations political, analytical, and research capabilities by helping to create 1) a political action committee (GASPAC); 2) a Foundation (Am. Gas Foundation); and 3) the Gas Technology Institute, to increase industry research funded by ratepayers (now, $60M in revenues, 280 employees). Provided advice to over 100 industry committees in all aspects of energy company operations (finance, marketing, technology, legal, etc.) Led teams of inside and outside counsel in litigation in state and federal courts. Successfully protected client; e.g., settled a $250M case involving 60 Minutes. Handled many regulatory and other matters during critical time of natural gas deregulation.
