OF Ss: 30 SCHOOL: COSTACHE NEGRI High school TIMING: 50 min TOPIC: LESSON AIMS: - to use the appropriate vocabulary when talking about clothes and Easter; - to practice clothes and Easter related vocabulary in sentences of their own; - to review some and any; - to make words using given letters ; - to read a poem about Easter; - to express personal opinions about Easter. ASSUMPTIONS: Some of the vocabulary related to Easter have already been introduced to the Ss. ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS: Some Ss might experience problems in expressing themselves properly. AIDS:blackboard, posters,worksheets,flip chart. ACTIVITY 1 WARM UP AND REVIEW AIMS; - to review some and any; - to get the Ss involved into the topic; - to practice vocabulary; - to use the new words in sentences. PROCEDURE Ss together with T review their homework.If necessary T corrects the mistakes and explains what Ss did not understand. Ss and T also review the vocabulary for clothes.Ss receive worksheets and the task is to say what they see in the picture.T asks the Ss to make sentences with the words. T asks the Ss what they know about Easter.Ss write in their notebooks the Easter related vocabulary.T asks the Ss to make sentences with those words. INTERACTION Frontal Whole-class activity 10 min Individual TIMING

ACTIVITY 2 WORD PUZZLES AIMS:- to practice personality related vocabulary; - to discuss about qualities and shortcomings; - to distinguish between positive and negative adjectives. PROCEDURE T gives the Ss workskeets containing two word puzzles about Easter.Each S solves the puzzle and then T chooses Ss to come and solve them on the posters at the blackboard.Those Ss also have to make sentences with the word they discovered. ACTIVITY 3 POEM AIMS: - to practice the reading skills; - to complete a given text; - to write the text. PROCEDURE INTERACTION T presents the Ss a poem that is missing some words. Whole-class The Ss try to read it and complete the words that are activity missing. Frontal Ss write the poem in their notebooks. Individual ACTIVITY 4 GAME AIMS: - to show their quick thinking; - to increase their vocabulary; - to use former knowledge to make new words. PROCEDURE INTERACTION Ss receive a worksheet with a game.T reads the rules Whole-class of the game. activity Ss have to make as many words as they can using only the letters E,A,S,T,E,R. Frontal Individual HOMEWORK: 3min Complete the game then choose 5 words,from those you discovered,and make sentences with them.
