Formulating of National Treasurys position on regional integration and the role of the Southern African Customs
Union (SACU) therein. Compiling cabinet memoranda and coordinating relevant Inter-Ministerial Committee
processes. Monitoring and development an in-depth profile of each SACU countrys economy. Inputs to South Africas
policy on the extension of credit lines and bilateral financial assistance. Assessing the extent of existing institutional
arrangements and assistance to attain regional integration. Providing input to policy on co-operation with regional
and global multilateral institutions on the development of SACU economies. Coordinating the payment of all funds

Financial Management: I have over 8 years of experience in managing finances of various student organisations, startups and non-profit corporations.

Flexibility: The different roles in my co-curricular and professional life have taught me to be flexible and how to
manoeuvre dynamically between responsibilities and commitments. My diverse interests also aid my flexibility giving
me a vastly diverse knowledge and skillset.

Languages: I can speak, read and write in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa. I am conversant in isiZulu and I have limited
understanding of Sestswana, Sotho and Portuguese.

Organisational Development: My experience in establishing student organisations and startups, and managing some
during transitional periods, has taught me a great deal in organisational development and change management.

Policy Research: I have over 4 years research experience gained through my occupation within the National Treasury
of South Africa and previous occupations and my involvement in Rethink Africa NPC.

Problem-solving: I have a general disposition and attraction towards problem-solving which has been developed by
various personal and career responsibilities. University training in Engineering, Philosophy, Politics, Economics and
Development Economics also informs the technically-sound and political economy perspective I hold.

Professional Communication: High school debating and public-speaking successes, and my leadership commitments
at University, have honed my public speaking skills and articulation. Moreover, my working experience has also helped
me perfect my communication skills and use of professional tone.

Project Management: As a member of various executive committees for student societies and Not-for-Profit

Teamwork: Over the past 4 years my involvement in simultaneous team activities (professional, extra-mural and
