Projects Engineer
KSB a German brand is among the leading companies in the field of pumps, valves and fluid system with
subsidiaries and affiliated companies all over the world. KSB projects department is involved in new
installations, rehabilitations, operation & maintenance of water and waste water transfer and treatment
system .KSB mainly focuses on turnkey and rehabilitation projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning, Execution & Controlling:

¾ Project management for water supply, wastewater, lift irrigation and industrial projects.
¾ Working as a team member with projects team in Planning, Designing, Proposal making,
Scheduling & resources loading.
¾ Project material costing & pricing.
¾ Execution of projects as per required design with in time and budget.
¾ Monitor site labor force and project progress.
¾ Selection of the right equipment & materials according to required standards.
¾ Floating enquiries, receiving quotations, follow up with vendors, carrying out price analysis and
preparation of comparative statements.
¾ Monitor all the activities of projects procurement
¾ To resolve technical or any other problem that may arise during project.
¾ Regular meetings with clients and consultants to have better understanding of on-going projects.
¾ Involved in negotiations with subcontractor and suppliers.

Proposals & Tendering:

¾ Preparation of prequalification & tenders documents.

¾ Submitting of proposals & Bids to government and industrial sectors.
¾ Review agreement, condition of contracts, specifications, drawings, and instructions to bidder.
 Business Development:

¾ Identify upcoming projects in industrial and government sectors.

¾ Maintain contact and good relations with project stakeholder groups, consultants, contractors,
Operation and business development personnel.

Credits during Job in KSB Pumps Company Ltd:

¾ Project engineer for Water supply scheme PAF Sakaser (Worth 20 Million pak rupees). Project
includes 3 pumping stations and 6.5 km long 5” MS piping over the hill.
¾ Project engineer for Sadqia canal lift irrigation project (Worth 42 Million pak rupees). Installation of 4
heavy duty vertical types PNW pumps with associated piping and intake structure.
¾ Commercial engineer, arrange material for our 3 major projects in Multan. (Worth 600 Million pak
rupees). Improvement of sewage system up to 72” RCC, AC & GRP pipe lines, up gradation of
existing pumping station and disposable station.
¾ Project coordinator for Clean Drinking Water for All (CDWA) project (Worth in Billions pak rupees).
Installation and O&M for three years of water filtration Plants.
