ARMY INSTITUTE OF LAW SECTOR 68, MOHALI

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR B.A. LL.B. 2013-14 (5 YEAR COURSE)

Admission to B.A., LL.B. 5 Year Degree Course will be made on the basis of the merit of Entrance Test to be conducted on all India Basis. A candidate seeking admission to this course is required to send his/her application for the Entrance Test in the prescribed form.

ELIGIBILITY
A candidate who has passed 10+2 examination from Punjab School Education Board or any other equivalent examination recognized as such by the Punjabi University, Patiala, securing at least 45% marks is eligible. He/She should not have completed the age of 20 years on 1st July, 2013.

APPLICANTS APPEARING IN QUALIFYING EXAMINATION


The applicants appearing for the qualifying examination in April are also allowed to take the Entrance Test provisionally, subject to the condition that their candidature shall stand cancelled in case they do not pass the 10+2 Mar/Apr exams with the required percentage of marks by the time of interviews for admission. Compartment cases are ineligible for admission even if they clear the examination in supplementary examination and a seat is available. The prospectus containing information about admission procedure and application forms etc. can be obtained either through post or in person against payment by a demand draft in favour of Army Institute of Law, Mohali as under: At Counter By Registered Post Only draft would be accepted For appearing in Entrance Test candidates may also download Entrance Test Application form from AIL website i.e.www.armyinstituteoflaw.org and attach a demand draft of Rs. 750/- payable to Army Institute of Law, Mohali with the Application Form. Application - cum - Admission Form can be obtained as under :Download Application-cum-Admission Form from AIL website www.armyinstituteoflaw.org and forward the filled Application - cum - Admission Form at AIL Counter. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM OFF-LINE


Download the application form from website i.e. www.armyinstituteoflaw.org and submit it by Speed Post/Courier or By Hand at the AIL Counter along with following documents:-

Demand Draft of Rs. 750/- in the name of Army Institute of Law payable at
Mohali/Chandigarh. Photocopy of 10th DMC. Eight copies of passport size photograph.

MODALITIES OF THE ENTRANCE TEST


The Entrance Test will consist of a paper with 4 sections of two hours duration in a single sitting to be conducted as under:

* The Institute reserves the right of not holding examination at a centre where the strength of examinees opting for the centre is less than 15.

Note:
(a) Three options in the order of preference for Entrance test centre are to be filled, in the application cum admission form. (b) Test centre once opted shall not be changed. (c) Exact venue of examination, however, will be intimated to the candidates through Admit Card/ E-mail.
