RE Withdrawal of Temporary Cessation Notices for the Hawkeye Mine M 1978 311 Ellison Mine M 1978 342 Burros Mine M 1977 297 and JD 5 Mine M 1977 248
Dear Mr Coram
The Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety Division received Gold Eagle s notices of Temporary
Cessation TC for the above referenced sites on March 1 2013 On May 7 2013 Gold Eagle submitted
withdrawals of those notices and affirmed previous statements it would initiate reclamation The
Division acknowledges the withdrawal of the notices of Temporary Cessation and is returning the
required fee of 115 00 for each site
Gold Eagle first committed to reclamation in lieu of submitting an Environmental Protection Plan on
January 7 2013 Gold Eagle U S Department of Energy and the Division will be meeting on site in mid May to discuss reclamation plans and requirements for all 4 sites Gold Eagle will be required to submit
a plan and timetable for initiation of reclamation to the Division within 60 days of issuance of the site
visit

Once the plans are reviewed and accepted by the Division it shall be incumbent upon Gold Eagle to
commence reclamation in accordance with the approved timetables Failure to meet set deadlines may result in the Division issuing a Reason to Believe a Violation Exist letter and scheduling the matter for
an enforcement hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board
