The Very First Issue!

News Updates is & will be a very important addition to the monteleone masterpieces facebook page. After reading each News Update comments are highly encouraged & recommended. I am looking for feedback from everyone. You may or may not like the ideas or direction things are going, have suggestions, insights, concerns, constructive critique, questions, etc. Please let me know in some way that you read the Newspaper Updates, so do not be shy. Looking over the M.M. Facebook page I realized that I have a TON of artwork & it's overwhelming. Here is the direction I am going to make things easier... Postings on Facebook from this point forward will mainly consist of links to artwork vs directly posting artwork on the wall here. Exceptions to this may occur on rare occasions. Thus I will be posting links that will take you to other sites where you will be able to view the new artwork or photography. The main purpose of this is to better protect the artwork & photography under a creative commons license. The other purpose is having a certain site to focus on a certain direction/medium catagory. Breaking my artwork into basic catagories, each having its own site/link will make more sense. Some postings will be made on multiple networks using a certain tool. All timeline album photos that are older than three - four months will be put into an Album. The Albums will make it easier for you to find the artwork you like. I intend for them to be be structured & organized mainly by Series/ Medium. I have already started this process. Exceptions to art catagories & their sites will happen. Overall I intend for the sites to mainly focus one or two mediums. About Prints:
I now have a profile on FineArtAmerica, where you will be able to purchase prints of my work! T o start things off I choose to upload & post only photography. For the time being I am posting fairly current related work that has connections to the spring season. So all Spring Flowers photos, A Bees Life photos, etc. Originally I considered posting all photos, but even that is a lot. I was looking to choose what I would or would not post & came across the Fall Foliage pieces & thought or said to myself: yeah the Fall Foliage pieces are cool, but it would make more sense to post those during the fall season. Thats when it hit. I felt that if I only focus on photos that deal with the current season, & mostly photos that are current /newer then its not so overwhelming. FAA allows me to create my own price for artwork, in which I receive the full amount of. So lets say I feel I deserve (for example) $50 for a 18 x 20 print. About Print Requests:

I have received requests from a few of you to make certain peices available as prints & so far the requests were for photos I took. With that said if you are interested in a print of any other piece of artwork (painting, mix media, digital painting, or photo) please let me know. Any image can become an available print or transfered onto some other merchandise like a mug, as a puzzle, a blanket, etc. The list goes on. Let me know what you are interested in purchasing. For me to prepare it into what you want may take a week depending on my work schedule. I will reply to your request by uploading the image & creating a link where you can purchase it.

I am in the process of creating a stores(which is taking time) at zazzle.com & society6.com. The stores will offer predominately original abstract work, which will be available on products such as ties, shoes, t-shirts, magnets, blankets, pillows, etc. The stores mainly will be featuring work you have not seen thus far. Creative Commons:
All photos will now be sporting an encoding profile with basic info & a Creative Commons License. The profile will include my name, contact # & email, title of the piece, the fact I am the artist & creator of the piece. The license allows you to be free to share, distribute & transmit the work. But you are not allowed to use for commercial purposes & not allowed to alter, tansform or build upon the work I do. The profile encoding can not be removed & so if someone were to steal one of my images from the internet & post it in a public profile, all of the info I put in the encoding would still be there. I am now starting to save my files as a png. This type of file makes the file smaller & much more difficult for printing. I am doing this because as of now mostly friends & family follow the art I do, however as I slowly expand my horizons as an artist more into the public I have to ensure that the work is protected & no one tries to steal it or call it their own. So it is important for me to do all of this. I basically have to ensure I receive the respect that I feel & I know that I deserve. This goes towards respecting who I am & the art that I do. If you intend to create an article or publication with my work please ask my premission first. I am also in the current process of creating my own watermark & will be including that into my files from now on, in addition to any watermark a social site may have. The excpetions to this are POD (Prints on Demand) sites. Those are some of the basics in regards to the responsibility I have towards the artwork I do. Thanks for being understanding.

I just posted my #800th deviant post! Amazing I know. It sure is wild to realize that I have over 800 images of artwork just on one profile. Deviantart.com is going to become the home of all digital artwork posting first & foremost, with chances of original paintings & such being added as well. I am now getting back into posting there on a weekly basis. I started this by reintroducing The Diamond Light Series. I highly recommend you check out my profile here. My official website will be the main center for everything going on. I am using Wix.com as the site where I am creating it. It is still in the process. Until its ready for official public release I felt to mention some features that it will include.
