From the Consistory

Visitors, welcome! We hope you are blessed through worshiping with us this Lords Day.

9:30 AM A Miracle in Deaths Domain

Today, Dr. Jerry Bilkes will conduct our worship services. This morning, Dr. Jerry Bilkes will preach a preparatory message for
the observance of the Lords Supper, which is scheduled to take place next Sunday morning. The observance of the Lords Supper, in our congregation and denomination, is a close communion. Therefore, those who are not members are asked to appear before the consistory prior to being permitted to partake of the Lords Supper. Those visitors desiring to attend are encouraged to contact the pastor or one of the elders.

Other News
Save the date: You are invited to participate in the annual Word & Deed softball tournament on July 27, 2013 at the Christian Reformed Recreation Center. If you are interested in playing or putting together a team, please contact our office at 866-391-5728 or usoffice@wordanddeed.org and we will connect you with the tournament coordinator. This is a wonderful way to fellowship with others from local churches while being a blessing to the needy in the developing world. Word & Deed Update: In 2006, Ellah was diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. The disease weakened her so much that she couldnt even walk, let alone take care of her new baby. Slowly, through the care of the Nakekela Clinic(South Africa), she improved. On the day she was discharged, she was determined to walk home instead of getting a ride. Babette (Nakekela Manager at the time) walked along with her. Today, Ellah has recovered full strength. Because of her zeal to help others suffering as she did, she has been hired as a Home Based Care Worker at Nakekela. She loves to give hope to those who suffer from the devastating effects of HIV/AIDS. Praise God for blessing Ellah, and many like her, with renewed strength!
