Battery-Saving Speaker Amplifier

Problems statement Students at the back of the class are unable to focus or listen to the presentation presented by the teacher in the form of Power Point and videos due to the large size of classrooms and the amount of students in front of them. The sound waves produced by the speaker are unable to reach the students at the back of the class because the sound waves are spreaded out, absorbed by soft materials such as curtains and carpets and reflected in a disorderly manner. These problems can be solved by using the Battery-Saving Speaker Amplifier (BSSA). Objective Teachers are able to lead or teach students by using a loud amplifier during teaching period in the classroom or school laboratory when LCD is used. Students are able to hear teachers teaching although they are sitting behind of the classroom or school laboratory. Teenagers those always sit in front of the computer are able to hear music without affecting their health because BSSA can reduce the radio waves.

Physics Concept

3.1

Physics concept which is used is resonance. The loudness of the BSSA was higher when the frequency of the bottle was the same as the frequency produced by the speaker. The following physics concept is reflection of waves. The materials used in the BSSA were of hard properties so that the sound waves produced by the speaker was fully reflected within the BSSA and its hailer. The usage of soft materials was avoided so that no sound waves will be wasted by the absorption of waves. Functions When the BSSA is directed to the back of the classrooms, school laboratories or lecture hall, the sound waves produce by the speaker would be confined to a limited space and directed to the back of the class. This would ensure that the sound waves do not disperse out but are force to travel to the back of classrooms, school laboratories or lecture halls. With this, teachers and lecturers are able to attract the attention of the students at the back. The students are also able to focus or listen to a certain presentation. The Battery-Saving Speaker Amplifier (BSSA) amplifies the sound produced by a small speaker, ensuring that only a small amount of energy is used on the speaker. Benefits of BSSA Students at the back of the classrooms, school laboratories and lecture halls are able to listen to presentation without the need of moving to the front of the classrooms.

Meanwhile, teachers or lecturers are able to teach using Power Point or videos without moving all around the classroom, school laboratory and lecture hall. With the usage of the Battery-Saving Speaker Amplifier (BSSA), louder sounds are produced without the need of a large speaker. A small speaker is sufficient enough to produce a loud sound which can travel till the end of the classrooms, school laboratories or lecture halls. In the case of using a large speaker, huge amount of radio waves are emitted to the whole class. However, with the use of BSSA, a small speaker can be used to produce loud sounds, thus the students are exposed to a smaller amount of radio waves. The BSSA is eco-friendly product which uses nearly 100% of recyclable and reusable materials such as bottles, plastic containers and cardboard pieces.

6.0 Advantages The target of our invention, Battery-Saving Speaker Amplifier (BSSA) is the teachers device to use it in class. By using (BSSA) they will attain some avails as following: 6.1 Lead a healthy lifestyle

This modul helps the user to maintain their health without damaging the users hearing mechanism. Unlike other amplifiers which causes damages to our hearing mechanism and causing radioactive which will affect our brain. Thus, our modul lead to a healthier lifestyle. 6.2 Save Cost

The original amplifiers in the market have a higher price compared to the others. By using (BSSA) to amplify and used it in schools for a long term, the cost will be balanced up and decrease slowly.

The small speaker is placed in the container, so only a limited space is needed to place the modul on the classroom and school laboratory.

A small speaker is used so that the energy consumption would be less, thus making the BSSA eco-friendly.

7.0 Commercial Potential 7.1 BSSA in a small size. Thus, it can be placed in a limited area especially in classroom and school laboratory. Even it can be placed in our house and other places. It can increase the frequency or waves of the sound that used. BSSA is cheap in price. It builds up with renewable material such as plastics and cardboards. BSSA provides a better method to handle by the user to amplify sound. The BSSA can be used by anyone in need of amplifying the sound produced by the speaker mainly teachers, lecturers and scholars. Since the target group comprises of a large quantity of people, the BSSA can easily achieve a good sale in the market. The BSSA uses materials which are easy to obtain and cheap, so the cost of producing the BSSA would not be huge. The BSSA can be developed easily, at a fast rate and does not require special skills or talents. This allows the BSSA to be sold at a low price and also allows the manufactures to obtain sufficient amounts of profit.

8.0 Future Plans 8.1 The number of hailers would be increased from one to two so that the sound waves produced by the speaker would undergo the phenomenon of interference of waves. This would result in loud sounds at specific areas at the back of the class. If the students are placed at the right positions where constructive interference occurs, the students are able to hear sounds which are louder and which have better clarity. 8.2 The BSSA would use materials of better quality, to ensure that it functions better.
