Exams taken in different countries Besides the history ,traditions and facilieties each of these countries presented (USA

England Romania ) one important difference between them is the way of oraganising the educational system which is aimed to prepare the new generations .In each case ,these countries have developed during years three plans which includes teaching and exams when children are prepared to test their knowledge in order to continue their studies and choose the most suitable dominium for a successful job. The first educational system presented is the british one which has planed that children are required to star primary education at the age of 4 and continue secondary and tertiary education until the age of 18.However,during this period apart from studying ,children are required to take some test in order to promote .

General certificate of secondary education(GCSE) at the age of 16and it is required for theoretical high schools.

At the same age ,it could be taken General Vocational Qualification (GNVQ) which
relates to occupational areas in general, rather than any specific job.

A LEVEL:it is an exam for children aged 18 after they finish highschool . HND:higher national diploma .This exam requires 1 or 2 years of study in a specialize subject during university . BSC:Butcheler of science.It is taken after 3 years of university . BA :Butcheler of arts .It is taken also after 3 years of university / MSC:master of science :after 2 or three years after you finish master MA:master of arts.

The second country which has an efficient system for educating children is SUA. In the United States, state and local government have primary responsibility for education. The Federal Department of Education plays a role in standards setting and education finance, and some primary and secondary schools, for the children of military employees, are run by the Department of Defense. The effiecency is provided due to the system of exam which prepares children for life. List of exams in USA:

Achievement tests
Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT): assesses the academic achievement of children,
adolescents, college students and adults, aged 4 through 85. The test enables the assessment of a broad range of academics skills or only a particular area of need. The WIAT-II is a revision of the original WIAT (The Psychological Corporation), and additional measures. There are four basic scales: Reading, Math, Writing, and Oral Language. Within these scales there is a total of 9 sub-test scores.

The Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) isan enterance exam used by many independent schools and magnet schools in the United States. Developed and administered by theEducational Records Bureau, the ISEE has three levels: the Lower level, for entrance in grades 5-6; Middle level, for entrance in grades 7-8; Upper level, for entrance in grades 9-12. All levels consist of five sections: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics Achievement, and a 30-minute essay. The SAT is a standardized test for college admissions in the United States. The SAT is owned, published, and developed by the College Board, a nonprofit organization in the United States. Graduate/Professional Schools TEST:


The Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) is a standardized test that is an admissions requirement [1] for many graduate schools in the United States, in other English-speaking countries and or English-taught graduate and business programs world-wide.The main reason of this exam is

to analyse writing and critical thinking skills that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are not related to any specific field of study.
