The TV show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is pretty polarizing: some people love it and some people cant stand it. But Maroon 5s Adam Levine wins the prize for hating the show the most. He tells GQ magazine (http://www.gq.com/entertainment/movies-andtv/201212/gq-men-of-the-year-punch-list#slide=9) that he feels the series is the worst thing thats ever happened. Asked by GQ what would be worse: waking up not famous or waking up as one of Honey Boo Boos parents, Adam goes off on the show. There is a reality show on every possible subject, whether the show lasts a few weeks, seasons, the people who create these shows are on the same level. If they would life their sights and moral compases, probably would not create as much controversy or make them the money they are seeking. There is only one reason to produce these shows right, for these people in Hollywood to make their money. I think if given the choice everyone who says they like this show or this famly would never want to be them in real life. After all, its all about me isnt it, see the Kardashian string of reality shows, the world is exposed to their drama and fights and all their stores and what have you. There is a reason why people from other states and countries see California and alot of its people are flaky and weird, Hollywood keeps producing these shows, it not only reinforces how people see the people on the show, but Hollywood as a whole. I think the majority of mature people choose not to watch these shows. They have more important things going on in their lives such as being responsible, working, raising a family, dealing with real life issues. Honey Boo Boo Show bugs me because the Parents are not married. They eat crap, and they eat in the living room in front of the tv too much. Obesity is seriously a problem and these girls are not given a fit meal or a fit way of life. Parents are adults but they must provide common sense meals and snacks, I am a large woman but none of my kids are fat they are adults and not fat. I put out a fruit bowl, and healthy snacks. They did homework with me at the kitchen table, then played and they were not allowed to hang out at the gas station. This show shows the bad habits that are killing our kids. That is what irks me. Does he just hate fat people? is that why he has a trainer, dietician and a nose job? To look like the average American? As a homosexual,(me not Adam) the way this redneck family embrace baby-daddy Sugar Bears gay brother, is the most transformative moment Ive ever seen as far as the American Public learning about gays. Honey-Boo-Boo loves h Uncle Poodle and he seems to have unconditional love from his brother and his family. This is the real America. Fat people with gay relatives. Honeys Mom won a GLAAD Award and I actually cried when they introduced the gay brother into the show because it was such a non-issue, it was just a part of this specific family. Like most families or workplaces, someone is gay. They arent the beautiful people . . . or are they? Uncle Poodle ( a six-year olds nickname for her adored uncle,) is not an actor who gets famous and THEN come out of the closet when safely employed or after their series is over. This show has done more for the fight for gay equality than anything ever shown in the History of of Television. I dont know why Levine has his panties in a knot. Maybe he thinks he stole his fashion look of the white t-shirt. Only his is a size too small. Theirs seem to fit comfortably. I dont hate Adam Levine, but I think this is a learning moment for him.
