Crystal Electronics Ltd. E-Commerce Manager June 2010 Present I started working with Crystal Electronics part time as a customer service representative, whilst studying at the University of Northampton; I was responsible for answering the phone, booking in jobs and speaking directly with both domestic and commercial clients. During my second year I started to work full time and was asked to take on more responsibilities, I worked on the construction and development of 6 new websites for the company, worked directly with an external IT company, to manage any IT issues. I continued working full time throughout my third year whilst continuing to study full time. Taking on further responsibilities, this included researching new products for the company, visiting clients as well as checking up on engineers on site. Crystal Electronics was also the lead engineering force in the 4G rollout, preventing any potential 4G interference with TVs across the country, I was one of 4 staff within the company who was managing the project. WH Smith High Street, Southend-on-Sea February 2010 May 2010 After finishing Loughborough University I returned to my home town and spoke with my old manager, he was more than happy to give me my old job back for a couple of months, and I worked on the tills, speaking directly with customers, and took on some managerial tasks, managing the store on Sundays. Games Workshop, High Street, Southend-on-Sea June 2008 January 2010 Here, I worked with a wide range of customers, varying in age and maturity. In this position, I have been trained to give the best customer service possible. I also had the responsibility of cashing up and filling in important financial paperwork. I was on a 0 hour contract whilst at Loughborough University and returned at Christmas to continue working in the store. SELEX sensors and airborne systems, Basildon January 2009 May 2009 I completed a 4 months placement with SELEX working with there systems engineers in their Basildon branch, here I worked within an office environment and gave presentations to other employees from the companies other branches. I also produced professional documents, and was personally responsible for testing on different components that the company produced. WH Smith, High Street, Southend-on-Sea October 2006 May 2008 In this position, I worked in all departments of the store and was also trained to operate the tills and handle money.

Education
University of Northampton Retailing with Education Studies Joint Honours 2010 2013 I achieved an upper second class honours degree at the University of Northampton; I was the course representative for Education studies, putting any ideas from classmates forward to the lecturers, as well as playing on the University of Northampton badminton team.

Loughborough University, Leicestershire Systems Engineering course 2009 - 2010 I completed 2 terms at Loughborough University on a systems engineering course, however whilst doing the course I decided that I did not want to go into engineering, I have therefore finished my course early and have been now accepted onto a different course at Northampton University. Other Activities/Roles
o o o o o o At University I raised money for the Have a Heart appeal through running a weekly pub quiz as well as charity raffles and bake sales. I played for the University of Northampton's badminton team Throughout Sixth Form, I was the School and House Sports Captain, for which I was responsible for organizing the teams as well as the events. I represented my form on the Sixth Form council, giving the students a say in the running of their school. I have been involved in the care of my older brother, who suffers from tuberous sclerosis. In my spare time I play badminton in high adult leagues around Southend. I also play tennis in the local leagues around the Leigh and Westcliff area. I have completed the 26-mile Leukaemia Research Bikeathon 4 times. I hold a Level 2 Sports Leaders Award.

I am an extremely healthy and very friendly person who relates well to others, I enjoy working as part of a team but can also work independently when required. I have a proven track record of managing a successful team at Crystal Electronics and strive under pressure, working to strict deadlines and with large clients has really helped me develop myself both personally and professionally.
