True, X-Files was a great show. Too bad they never got back together to make a 3rd movie, in time to be released this December. Have to go back and watch the show to understand why the 3rd movie would come out now if they did. But this list was for the year 2000 to present. So, X-Files, Seinfeld, Simpsons (maybe) would not be on the list. For How I Met Your Mother? - it is probably in its last season or maybe get one more out of it if lucky. Most shows never make it past season 7 and HIMYM is on its 8th right now. Guess we find in April if CBS decides to keep it going for another year or two. I grew up watching Buffy and Angel (I've watched every episode) and I think those are really great series especially compared with crap like true blood, that has to add a lot of tits to get people to watch. I mean if that's an excuse for a weak storyline it's a lame one because GoT has a great storyline and tits (jeej!) Only Supernatural can compare with those series in that genre.
