Founded in 1978, WITSA is a leading consortium of ICT industry association members from nearly 70 economies around the world. WITSAs members represent more than 90 percent of the world ICT market. As the leading recognized voice of the global ICT Industry, WITSA aims to drive transformation and grow the industry. The logos greater clarity and definition underscore our increasing influence on the development of ideas and policies related to ICT and our impact on the world social economic progress. This is highlighted by the clear and dominant use of the WITSA acronym as the main feature of the logo against the map of the world. Additionally, the use of different shades of blue and green projects stability while exuding confidence. Clearly, the WITSA logo encapsulates the WITSA brand as a respected and dynamic global alliance for the advancement of ICT.

Incorrect Usage of Logos

WITSA logo must always be applied in its correct forms, colors and sizes as specified in the guideline. Incorrect usage of the logo risks its consistency in appearance.

Do not distort or adjust the proportions of the logo.

Do not modify the artwork or substitute it with another typeface.

Do not add any special effects.

Do not add outline on the logo.

Do not alter the color specifications of the logo.

Do not eliminate any elements of the logo.

Do not change the position of the elements of the logo.

Do not alter the identity of the logo.

Do not rotate the logo.

Do not place logo on patterned or busy background.

Do not connect the logo to any other logo type (except prior approval from WITSA).

4.0 Co-Branding Guidelines


It is important to maintain the integrity of WITSA brand identity that business relationships be managed in a strategic and consistent way. It helps to clarify relationships and avoid confusion to external parties. Co-branding is the use of one or more trademarks from two or more companies for the marketing of specific products, services or events. The usage of WITSA logo for the different types of co-branding arrangement must adhere to the specified guidelines and approve by the WITSA Secretary General prior to the execution.

Co-Branding Guidelines

Joint Marketing

This is an arrangement between WITSA and supporting organization to jointly promote and market WITSA products, services or events. Both parties invest in marketing dollars. The prominence of each logo generally is relative to its use as a primary or secondary contributor. It should have a relationship descriptor in a stacked format.
