Due to the nature of this tour, keeping in mind flights, bus and accommodation bookings, installment payments will not be refunded if you decide to pull out, after making the commitment to attend. Opportunities may exist to do other activities as time permits, and those wishing to, need to apply in writing. Visiting of relatives, friends etc. will be at the discretion of the Officer Commanding, and need to be expressed on the commitment form.

Accommodation: Accommodation will be on New Zealand Defence Force Bases where possible, then using ATC Units and motels / backpackers. Bearing: While on base, cadets are representing 4 Squadron and the Air Training Corps. Therefore behavior is to be appropriate, and in accordance with the New Zealand Cadet Forces Policy and Administration Manual (PAM). Cadets who fail to comply with the PAM will be referred to the Commanding Officer of the tour, and if further action is required, cadets will be returned to Auckland AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE by any commercial means available.

Equipment: All equipment should be named clearly. Cadets will have laundry facilities available to them at some points of the tour; however they should plan to go 2-3 days without having to do any laundry. Valuable items such as mobile phones, CD players, cameras etc. are carried AT CADETS RISK, the officers and staff will not be responsible for these. Nb. Baggage will be restricted to a large sports bag + uniform bag. This is due to restricted space on board the bus. Regular newsletters and Facebook** page will be provided to tour participants with additions / amendments / deletions to the trip plan. Group meetings will also be scheduled as required. If at any time you would like to discuss anything with the staff, please contact PLTOFF Mitchell Brady on 021 024 16624. (** You will be invited onto the page only after a commitment is made).
