Philips - Bangalore, Karnataka - April 2013 to Present Bangalore, India This project is called "Information Factory" and as the name suggests the basic requirement is to publish Information to Business as and when they subscribe to the same. This is a very challenging project involving multiple touchpoints and multitude of tools and technologies. It involves reading SAP real-time transaction data using PWX, transforming it by either calling a webservice to update Teradata DB or using Teradata Parallel Transport to directly insert the record. Once the insert is committed informing the Business subscriber that requested changes are available. My roles and responsibilities include: Designing and proposing solution to meet the end-to-end data flow requirements. Coordinating with Onshore team and understanding new/changed requirements and translating them to actionable items. Proposed an Automatic code generation using a custom build "Informatica Code Generator" to minimize build/test time for pre-defined Templates. The "ICG" is build using Informatica SDK in Java. Managing a team of around 6 Developers, helping them with Technical/logical solutions as required. Maintaining the Solution Design and System Design documents.

Supporting the Testing team in preparing Test Scenarios, Test cases and setting up Test data. Installing and Maintaining the Development Informatica PC and PWX environments. Closely coordinating with upstreams (SAP Real-time database) and down streams (Teradata, ESB), to ensure an issue free development setup.
