GAME DEV BOOTCAMP

Software: Unreal Development Kit (UDK)

Do you enjoy playing video games? Ever wonder how you could make one yourself? In this exciting game development bootcamp, we invite you to come and experience a two-day crash course into the world of game level design. Stepping into the role of an Environment Artist / Level Designer, you will get your hands on one of industrys most recognised and respected game engines: the Unreal Development Kit (UDK). In just two days you will learn the process of creating a fully functioning game level from scratch. During this course, the aim is for you to produce your own custom made level for a First Person Shooter. Then each participant will play levels in a grueling deathmatch playtesting session. In the end, you will render out a short video flythrough for your level to take home to show your friends and family. Most importantly, you will experience two fun and intense days of making games, that may spark your game career journey.
