COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course deals on the design of basic farm structures according to the standards of poultry, swine and livestock. COURSE OBJECTIVES: At the end of the course, students are expected to: 1. Identify farm structures 2. To know the different construction materials and their properties 3. To get acquainted on the basic factors influencing the design of farm structures 4. To make a plan or design a simple farm structures suited in a farm set-up COURSE OUTLINE: Chapter 1 A. B. Evaluation of existing farm structure COURSE REQUIREMENTS: The students must earn 60% to pass the course, performing well on quizzes, recitations and long examinations, partcipating in field exposure through interview, survey and field trips. Students acquiring grade lower that 60% but higher than 55% (conditional failure) will be given a removal final examination to pass the course.
