OJT PORTFOLIO IV. OBSERVATIONS IN THE COMPANY What I have observed at DENR-NCR ECOLOGY was they had a great and high standard competent and well trained employees because they express themselves in good and in nice and elegant way. They are a good and best of the best employee in all. The strength and challenges of this company is that they treat us well and they had a good communication skills in their clients and guest. The challenges one was when they had their guest from the other country and when they feel pressured in work. They know how to control their pressure in work. I think the best practice of this company is when they had their self assessment exercises they express themselves in good and in competent way. They do it not once but as many as they can because it can improve their self confidence. V. My over-all observation in DENR-NCR ECOLOGY was they had a good and competent performance that other company dont had. They are the best of the best of all company because they are all well trained and had their good attitudes. W. PERIODIC REPORTS (daily, weekly, monthly) What we do daily are the following: FILING RECORDING ENCODING What we do weekly are the following: CALCULATING OF OVER ALL EXPENSES OF THE COMPANY ANSWERING TELEPHONE CALLS What we do monthly are the following: DOING A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION AND SEGREGATION OF PAPERWORKS. During my whole training in DENR-NCR ECOLOGY , I think the problem/s that I have encountered is when I feel that I am pressured in my work when all of my coordinators ask help in same time but I handle it because my coordinators also told us how we handle that thing.

OJT PORTFOLIO VII. SELF-ASSESSMENT A. Skills and current technology learned/enforced: I learned now how to print in old model of printer and also how to photocopy , I love that experience. But not all OJTs are as lucky as I am. Not all have a wonderful experience, and thats the bitter truth. Sometimes some are hired just to do some sort of stuff, worst of all, is when theyre tasked to do things which are not totally related to their course. It became worst in the sense that they will never have the chance to grow, to explore and discover themselves, and to gain experiences which will serve as their guidance in stepping into the real world. The opportunity to have the best experience that every trainee wished to have became unreachable for them. The training ground that was expected to prepare them for the future became a burden for their development. B. Equipment, tools, testing apparatus handled (softwares used included) Telephone: Used for making and receiving phone calls to customers and staff. Desk: Needed to store all the office equipment on. Waste basket: For all rubbish that is not needed any more. Swivel chair: Able to turn all the way round and move easily on wheels. Draw unit with draw: Stores documents, books or anything that is needed to be stored in the desk. Files: Used for storing documents that need to be filed in alphabetical order. Filing cabinet: Used for storing files in order. C. Strong points versus weak points I had experience a very spectacular work that I had done in this company because my weak points or my weaknesses was my everyday job on that company it is the ask for signature of the head of the company how should I ask them and what should I do to had their signature . We can always make our OJT meaningful and fruitful through doing things that procures satisfaction to us. Everything that we do must develop our potential and allow us to reach our objectives. Its accomplishing every task with all our hearts and having the initiative to strive harder to learn and seek for more .

OJT PORTFOLIO VII. SELF-ASSESSMENT D. Best experiences on the job: OJT is more than what it means. Its the set of training, learning and the most important ingredients of all, the experience. Just like what a famous quote says, Experience is the best teacher. And nothing compares to the knowledge that it can give to us. It may be hard at first, but once we learn to appreciate and love what were doing, it became easier and easier every day. E. Evidence of Background preparation: Faults committed (its causes and suggestion given by the supervisor) The faults that I commit was when the head of the company called us to come in front and ask something on me. I answered it but I am not so well answer her question on me because I feel nervous on her. My supervisor told me that I need to practice my self confidence because it can cause a big problem on me. Personal relationship (integration with the company, attendance and punctuality, and commitment) Comment from co-worker (at least 3 person) Person 1: Learns quickly but needs little supervision. Signature over printed name: MYRNA SUENO

14

Person 2: Shes punctual and willing to learn, Also possessed a very nice attitude. Signature over printed name: ROWENA R. TESTON Person 3 : Shes willing to learn more and she follow instruction easily. Signature over printed name: PAULINA D. PAGUINTO
